I am a Civil Engineer and I did the math for you:

$1970 85" version cost 63.8 cents per square inch of screen
$1599 75" version cost 66.5 cents per square inch of screen
$970 65" version cost 53.7 cents per square inch of screen

Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

Rtings.com review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900h (IMHO one of the best LED TV's out there)

Costco.com VS Costco Warehouses (physical stores)

Costco.com vs Costco Warehouses (physical stores) act as 2 different business units and will not price match if bought from the "other" store.

Costco.com

Costco.com Price Adjustment Page: https://customerservice.costco.co...l/a_id/628
30-day Price Adjustment
Multiple people have chatted/talked with customer support and have posted proof that orders will be price adjusted.
Multiple Costco.com orders even have the price adjustment already issued.
Free shipping

Costco Warehouses

Price adjustment seems to depend on the associate/store manager so YMMV.
The carton is a beast and DON'T LAY TV FLAT when transporting.

4K 120HZ Blur Issue

(11/13) Sony has acknowledged the blur issue and promised to address it: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254079
Here is the Sony support page: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254078

Hope this helps!

Hah. I also got the 75" on the 1570 sale. Wife saw me looking at this and gave me a hard no.

Can anyone that has this TV please help confirm the longest length between the legs of this TV?
Best Buy lists the stand width at 60.1 inches.

Do you all have a Costco credit card or will use your regular card? I think with costco credit card only you will get 5 years warranty.
You get five years standard whichever credit card you use unless it is the Costco Anywhere Visa Card issued by Citi that provides an additional two years (Coztco.com accepts more than Visa). Purchasing the X950H from Best Buy or Amazon only provides a one year warranty.

its 46 inch for 850G, assuming the same for 90CH.

This monster is 130 lbs, will Costco delivery leave at the door or bring it upstairs in a two story home? Is extra white glove delivery for $20 worth it? Will this fit inside a minivan with seats folded down?
I'd totally spend the $20 on white glove to deliver it to a room up or downstairs and unbox unless you have two capable lifters in your household.

The blurry 4k/120hz issues are concerning. Most of us bought this with the intention to use it at that setting for gaming. It sounds like they added the ability for the set to take in a 4k/120hz signal but not display a 4k 120hz signal. If the 4k signal only looks as good as 1080p then it should not be advertised as supporting 4k 120hz. Since the hdmi chip they use we know supports the bandwidth we know it can't be that. I'm really hoping they don't have some hardware in the set that can't handle that bandwidth and are just trying to make it compatible with that PS5 mode so people think they are getting 4k120hz. But from that response it didn't sound promising and I would expect alot of angry customers after the ps5 comes out as there is no way games are going to look 4k crisp with this blurriness. Also glad i bought from costco so that i have another 60 days to decide if its going back. Other than that I love the set.

I have the 86" 8570 in my living room and I am returning it in favor of this (unless the 120hz, 4k debacle is forever). The LG is a nice size, has webOS, eARC, HDMI 2.1 (a little neutered but still decent) and is perfectly fine but has poor black levels, too dim for great HDR, and is IPS so good viewing angles but poor contrast. If it is all you look at you'll like or even love it but if you see it besides this or a Samsung RU8000/TU9000 it is clearly inferior picture quality wise. One other plus is that it has pretty low reflectiveness on the screen. Much better than this one or the Samsungs, IMO.

That's actually a great value/size if you don't mind giving a bit on picture quality but like I said, you wouldn't even notice if it weren't for side by side comparison.

It says they deliver to your room of choice.

White glove is just unboxing and setup. I guess they install the stand and plugin an HDMI cable. To me, it is worth the $20 because you naturally have a chance to look at the TV while it is on for any obvious defects while the guys are still there. Also, I have a tight stair well. I'm not 100% sure if the box will fit and I figure with white glove, there is a chance they can try carrying the TV up unboxed. I'm 100% sure that would fit. another consideration, if you return and bought white glove, they will rebox the TV for you and take it back vs regular where you have to do it. At least that is what I read in this thread.

I am buying because it is the only FALD 85in TV in this price range. Any cheaper TV seems alot worse in my eyes. Any better TV costs alot more. I have no need for 4K/120hz at this time but I can't say I won't in the next 5-10yrs. I also site 18ft away so the blur prob isnt noticable, though 4K vs HD probably isn't even noticeable for me. If one has the money to buy a better TV, they should absolutely go ahead and buy the better TV. However, I see no real alternatives if one wants to stay at this price.

950h is less bright than the 900h? I thought it was the other way around....?
Oops, my bad. The x950h has lower contrast ratio due to its X-Wide Angle technology. It is brighter than x900h.

I missed it. Wish they'd bring it back for that, or an even 1500!

For me, 85" is a tad big for my bedroom, but then I'm used to a 100" projected picture on wall. Still, a TV always taking that much space... Eh.

Anyone know of an upcoming deal for 75"?

I can't imagine Costco not atleast matching their existing price on BF.

Also, to those complaining about 4k @120hz, is it that big of a deal? I'm a gamer but won't be hooking up my pc to it. Ps5 or xbx series x maybe, but I never really saw a difference going from 60hz to 75hz on my monitor so... And yes, I've never seen true 120hz in action before.😜

So, for me, it's either this deal, the 65" LG CX deal, or wait for 75" x90ch deal.

I'm not seeing the 75" in the ad, only the 85".
