I am a Civil Engineer and I did the math for you:

$1970 85" version cost 63.8 cents per square inch of screen
$1599 75" version cost 66.5 cents per square inch of screen
$970 65" version cost 53.7 cents per square inch of screen

Therefore, the 75" version is the worst choice and actually cost more than the 85" version when looking at cost per square inch of screen

Direct Link to purchase TV: https://www.costco.com/sony-85%22...57292.html (goes in and out of stock).
Rtings.com review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900h (IMHO one of the best LED TV's out there)

Costco.com VS Costco Warehouses (physical stores)

Costco.com vs Costco Warehouses (physical stores) act as 2 different business units and will not price match if bought from the "other" store.

Costco.com

Costco.com Price Adjustment Page: https://customerservice.costco.co...l/a_id/628
30-day Price Adjustment
Multiple people have chatted/talked with customer support and have posted proof that orders will be price adjusted.
Multiple Costco.com orders even have the price adjustment already issued.
Free shipping

Costco Warehouses

Price adjustment seems to depend on the associate/store manager so YMMV.
The carton is a beast and DON'T LAY TV FLAT when transporting.

4K 120HZ Blur Issue

(11/13) Sony has acknowledged the blur issue and promised to address it: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254079
Here is the Sony support page: https://www.sony.com/electronics/...s/00254078

Hope this helps!

Hah. I also got the 75" on the 1570 sale. Wife saw me looking at this and gave me a hard no.

Over your head? I think you're mounting it too high
That is definitely too high. I mounted it so that the bottom of the tv is 29" from the floor. Perfect height so you don't have to lift up your head.

I helped someone install this exact TV using this mount:

Don't let the cheaper price scare you off. This mount is very heavy duty. Just make sure you are hitting studs at all mounting locations.
They have been very happy with it for the past few months.
cheaper until they wanted $76 to ship my mounts (that was the cheapest option). holy crap. looked good too until that.

Mine shutdown once or twice since I bought it 2 months ago. Love the tv. Wondering if I should return and rebuy from Costco since I am outside of the price match window but inside the return window. $500 plus tax difference!!
Same here. My set is pretty good without banding or DSE, scared to risk a re-buy.

Are people still finding this in stock online? I've been checking constantly for the last week and I never see it in stock.

Be careful with the Sony X900H. Those looking to take advantage of PS5/Xbox Series X 4K 120 Hz will be have blurring issues. Sony is apparently aware and it seems like it's a hardware limitation of the TV. Rtings also confirmed the issue.

Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/4kTV/com...ame=iossmf

Rtings.com calls Sony X900H 4K/120Hz blur bug a "deal breaker"

Looks like the 4K/120Hz blurriness problem is intentional with no plan to fix it. I see a lot of people here swearing on this TV, and I feel it is necessary that we clarify the issues that come with the TV's compensation for 4K/120Hz

I was told today it is either the 20th or the 23rd. Most likely back to $969.

Have seen others comment they are happy with Sanus mount from Costco.

How is this (MW Mounts 42" - 90" Full-Motion TV Mount) from costco? They are cheaper than Sanus

Personally online is better since they'll deliver and bring it to your a room of your choice. And if you need to return they'll haul it away.

I will be getting a Costco membership just to buy this tv and applying for the credit card at the store after I purchase my membership to get the extended warranty and 2% cash back. Regarding delivery, I saw that the white glove is an extra 20.00, which is a no brainer. What about regular delivery, is it included or does it cost? I have read on this thread about people fretting that their SUV is too small and they have to rent a van from Home Depot.

Any suggestions on inexpensive wall mount for this tv? I don't need full motion, just tilting down would be nice.

On Best Buy's BF ad, they have a Sanus Advanced Tilt TV Mount for 69.99, reg 149.99., Will fit 42" to 90" TV's.
