Thanks OP! It was $440 last year during Black Friday so this is a good deal if you don't want to wait. I called Dyson to price match and they did it no problem (including the extra filter). Did this for warranty purposes.

You could always return if it's lower price during Black Friday 2020

suspicious - they avoid rating it by how many CFM of air the HEPA filters, so i would get something hepa specific, and just buy a separate fan/heater if you still need that. saying "77gal of air" is a joke... that's about 9cf and it says nothing about how often it turns over "77gal of air" per second? minute? hour? day? week? such a silly marketing that's obviously designed so you can't do any HEPA comparison shopping.

Just called Dyson and they price matched (including the extra filters). Dyson currently only have the black/nickel model in stock (which is a color that QVC does not offer, so if you like that color then Dyson is the way to go).

Additional note: Dyson have the extra HEPA filters in stock but are waiting for a shipment of the carbon filters, so will be sending that at a later date.

Hope this is helpful to anyone that wants to buy directly from Dyson or is interested in the black/nickel model.

Compared to using my furnace to heat up the entire house, my gas bill was just $20.
Why is this garbage just because you don't use it? Localized space heating can save money depending on the conditions. I heard a good rule of thumb is electricity costs about double gas cost per BTU. Still if you only need to heat 1 room out of like 10, this is worth doing. We also use this to localize heating in areas without overheating upper floors.
