Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can Wink

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

Is this worth extra $50 compare to Samsung ultrawide 34inch(s34j55) i just bought from Costco even if I don't play games. Should I return it and get this one instead?
Depends if you want a curve and if 144Hz is something you might like. Built-in speakers are a bonus.

1) Not all people appreciate a curved monitor because it distorts the appearance of straight lines.

2) 144Hz is something you can appreciate, even if you're not a gamer. Scrolling and browsing is just soo smooth and silky.

3) I have a nice Logitech 2.1 setup connected via a 3.5mm jack, but the built-in speakers still serve as a bonus when connecting multiple systems to the same monitor.

Personally digging this deal, and would spend the additional $70 for this monitor (the s34j55 is going on sale soon for $280).

Who's gonna buy this on Nov 1?
Me. And again on Nov 30 just in case maybe Wink Terms and conditions for a price match seem pretty clear. Unless there's another set of terms & conditions hidden within the BF booklet just for BF, then the same T&C apply.

The special consideration for promotional pricing is for end consumers only. Resellers must purchase the item during the valid promotional dates to receive the promotional price.

Promo price, within 30 days of purchase, and end consumer.

Costco has been pretty bad as of late with keeping stock of BF deals. You can't price match until November 30th, and it takes a few days to hear back from the price match.

I can't imagine them preferring you return an item over honoring their own set of terms and conditions when it comes to price matching. It's fix it or honor it. And Costco tends to honor their policies.

Just price matched an item a couple weeks ago. Took about a week? They did refund the associated tax.

Can anybody confirm if this curved monitor is not good for using Excel spreadsheets? Somebody mentioned that the curvature distorts straight lines. Also, is anybody using two of these monitors for a dual monitor setup for work productivity?

His advise makes sense for colors, but for the 1 ms, I have zero idea why he even wrote that nonsense.

I have a similar question as someone asked previously. Can this monitor split screen two inputs?

I was wondering the same. After looking at the manual this has pip/pbp as long as you have freesync off.

Trying to decide between this and the Dell from Costco It will be for working from home and for gaming. Mostly I place games like modern warfare.

I have a similar question, but typically you can share a specific window instead of a screen. That should address any potential issues.
Specific window as in specific app? For my line of work I'm switching between multiple apps when trying to explaining an issue to someone... Would be a pretty big hassle to swap Everytime
