Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can Wink

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

Appears there isn't one and touts its built in speakers to save desk space. Shame, that's a deal breaker for me.
Actually, there may be. I found the user manual at B&H's listing (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...4_qhd.html) and it shows a stereo jack with the other ports. I think I'm going to have to try one of these.

Wrong advice man! That is for some purpose in case u r not satisfied, not meant for mis-use.
If he doesn't plan to keep coming back, then it should be obvious he's not satisfied Wink

Awesome! Weird that the omit that detail from their website listing and can only be found in the user manual. Happy it's there!

Deal is on November 30 not today. Some are buying now and will ask for a price adjustment on November 30.
Thanks BazzX.

Only sad thing that can happen is if Costco gets sold out of the Acer now and doesnt restock till Nov 30th and what then? I mean, technically, there's no deal if an item is out of stock.......

Would piss a lot of people that are paying now and hoping to do a price-match ...lol. Would be stuck with a $449+taxes monitor.

I'm prepared to return it for a refund if I can't get it price matched.
Been waiting a while for a decent ultrawide gaming, didn't want to pass this up Smilie

Also, if this panel is similar to the curved non ultrawide Nitro version, then it should be VERY good for a VA.

I have the 32" curved non ultrawide (also released at Costco some months ago and appears to be a Costco exclusive for Acer). Very minimal banding and no ghosting from what I've seen. I play Modern Warfare every night and no issues with ghosting/lag. AMD sync works brilliant.
What GPU do you have?

The other option if they will not price adjust is to buy is now, and then again on Cyber Monday. Then, just take back the one you bought now and get your money back. Just keep the receipt.
I think the issue is Costco possibly running out of stock on Cyber Monday.

RX 580 gb. I've slightly overclocked it and it runs Modern Warfare at 1440p (high settings). Averaging about 80fps with AMD sync.

...and it's dick moves like this that cause things like 'restocking fees' to exist. Thanks for being part of the problem.

Noticeable difference between the 1000R and 1500R? More immersion? What's your preference?
Night and day difference. The 1000R is my 49 inch samsung. 1500R is good enough up to 38 inches IMO. YMMV though. Once you're in the 40's though 1000R is a savior.

Just keep note that the lower the number the greater the curvature. (I didnt know until I researched it)
