Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.
It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).
Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.
I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.
Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.
Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

I already confirmed this with CSR 2 days ago and called them again prior to ordering. Same thing as what the other person told me last time.
Order now....then on 11/30 when deal is active, fill out the price adjustment form via Costco website (order #, amount paid, new promo price, etc). Then submit and they said price adjustments are honored as long it's under 30 days.
And this process is ONLY for online orders (so u dont have to return prod and rebuy).
I've looked far and beyond and under $450, this Acer is the only solid deal with HDR400, brighter VA panel, 144hz amd sycn (I have a gaming system incoming with a AMD 5700XT).
Even if the $350 deal may not work out, I'm gonna keep this. I already have the 32" non ultrawide Nitro series that Costco started carrying last month and it's pretty much same specs as this deal minus the ultrawide aspect.
With my Nitro order, I never received any shipping/tracking till the monitor showed up at my doorstop 4 days later so I expect the same. Upon delivery, then Costco email came thru as "delivered".
Pumped as I'm ascending my gaming level to the higher plane (upgrade from 16:9 screen with older RX580 to ultrawide screen plus 5700XT).
For a VA panel, the banding is almost none and I play tons of CoD-MW and also the beta Cold War and zero issues with ghosting. And I upgraded from a 27" IPS panel.
If anything, VA is much brighter than IPS and Acer usually calibrates their premium monitors from factory unlike other brands. On my Nitro, I didn't had to do any fine tuning via my AMD card other than changing the monitor mode to "HDR".
Also keep in mind these newer monitors are optimized for freesynch so your video card settings dictate the efficiency on how the monitor will handle the games. And also display port VS hdmi. On my current Nitro, hdmi locks freesync to 100hz while display port goes to 144hz.

1. Works at 144 Hz on DisplayPort, I had a leftover cable from a previous LG monitor.
2. G-SYNC works. I am using an RTX 2080. I used the G-SYNC demo to verify this.
3. OSD has some gamer features like crosshairs, refresh rate display
4. Text is sharp. Visual Studio Code looks great!
I can test PiP/PBP later, I do see options for those on the OSD
Let me know if there are other questions!

Would you please verify if the stand is height adjustable?

I knew this before buying and was planning to mount on my VESA arm anyways. The monitor comes with long risers to provide VESA mounting.
Because many Esports players only use TN, around 24", 240hz, and 1080p. Which is what my last monitor was. But I'm getting old and slow, I just want to enjoy the experience, so I'm switching to this awesome deal.
