Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".

Went in store. Said they are for the BF sale. Told me to come back on Sunday
Then they defrauded you and wasted your gas. Please DM me the details of your experience (exactly what you said and they said) so I can send a class complaint.
Today is Friday, not Sunday. Today (and prior) is "Get Black Friday Prices Now" sale. They can't lie to customer and say the early Black Friday sale didn't start yet, or that it's Sunday, or Thanksgiving - because the sale price is already listed on their website. They are bound by consumer law to honor that live advertisement in store. (The app even said in store.)

As above, the store my wife visited had them all still shrink-wrapped on pallets. She asked several employees about them and was told they had them, but they weren't put out for sale yet. No one seemed to know exactly where they were either. Anyway, she went looking and only found them because someone had already torn the shrink-wrap to dig one out. It rang up $9.98 np though.
Just picked one up from Bronx Terminal #6891
There were 2 left in the middle of the ladder aisle (away from the Gorilla step ladders) in a box marked "Special Buy"
For everyone who is talking about price $32, they had two models. The one with 8'9" max is the $32 and the one with 8'8" is the slick deal which is $9.88.
I was at HD 95035 location and the awesome store employee helped me find the right one looking for.
Don't doubt the members. Some stores are literally hiding the pallets 20 isles away from the Ladder isle. So even customers who know the ladders are in stock (Brickseek), can't see these ladder boxes on the top shelve in the ladder isle. Corporate also lied and changed the website today, to claim the ladders are no longer in stock [for your selected store that had them in stock yesterday]. But yes, members should ask for help to "find" them.
Forget the ladder. You need a boat. How else are you going to hop from isle to isle.
I bought 1 today at my local store. I had to escalate to manger to open up the pallet. They were in the ladder section all wrapped up. I guess some employees were too lazy to unwrap it.
I was told that the ladders would be released in batches everyday for Black Friday sales. Idea is that people would come in to buy ladder and then buy something else as well. So keep checking everyday, it will pop up especially on weekends.

Freaking hell! Never went in the store for a product so many times. My HD is 5 mins away so it isn't a big deal.
Round 1: Mistook the white rung (3 step) ladder to 9.98 went to checkout and it rang 32$. The BF deal is for a different SKU. Came back home without asking when it is going to come.
Round 2: This time armed with new info and hoping that the pallets are stored somewhere upstairs and checked with the HD employee, he said the delivery (96 BrickSeek) will be coming on 11/12 and you can come in then.
So it looks like indeed they are staggering the availability in stores for the BF deal..
Got my $9.88 gorilla ladder today.Had a hard time finding it as it was not in the section of the store that has ladders. They were in a special section of the store dedicated to black friday deals and had the special black friday sign showing them marked down to $9.88 from $29.00.Look for the Black Friday section of the store. There were tons of them.Repped!
Could not find in store near ladder section or special buy areas. Did find the one still priced at $32 in the ladder isle, and they price adjusted it for me down to $9. I didn't even realize there were two different ladders at the time lol

Defrauded? LoL haha! How about Deal Deniers
This isn't a Bond film, this Just sounds like undertrained or under informed staff.
Fraud would be if they knowingly mislead you for financial gain. Somehow i fail to believe a $12-15hr Home Depot is out to defraud customers on behalf of HD
