I don't game so can't really comment on that aspect of this TV. What I can tell you is had two OLED's (C7 and C9) and I purchased a X900 I got at Costco for $970 for another room. It was good for the price, but the picture just does not compare to the OLED. Even my gf who doesn't really care much about this kind of stuff commented it doesn't look as good as the other TV's. Long story longer, I boxed up the TV this week and returned it to Costco and purchased the 65CX to take it's place. Was twice the cost, but I think it is worth it. Also already claimed the Hulu credit and free speaker. As far at the extended warranty goes, I actually did have to use my ST warranty on my C7 last year after a lightning strike on my neighbors tree fried my TV.. It was out of warranty at that time and it was covered. They replaced both the main board and power supply and I just got a new panel installed on that TV for free from LG as a one time courtesy replacement for some vertical banding.

There was a firmware update a few days ago. It supposedly helped with VRR issues from vids I've seen. Havent tested myself though. Havent gamed in months.

What people were seeing was image skipping.

Yeah you may be right... When I first played on VRR the screen would flicker.... Then I did update and it was gone. But stuff I read on the VRR issues they said it cant be fixed with firmware so I was assuming the other issue was non related but maybe it is good to go now!!

I don't think I ever got my bonus 5% back from Amazon for this I'm going to return this TV to Amazon since I have until the end of January unless I get my %10 bonus. I called Amazon and syncbank and they both refused to give me the extra 5%

Amazon sucks. I've called half a dozen times to Amazon to get my missing 5% cashback $100 missing for this TV, they keep transferring me to different departments and saying someone's going to call me back. Don't see how I can in good conscience let them get away with dodging the extra 5% cash back I was promised. Looks like I will be returning
