Currently there is free xc 8.0 battery with the highly regarded brad nailer for $279 which itself is good.

But if you buy in store the price gets divided as 162 for the nailer and 117 for the battery. That would be the lowest price for the nailer in history.

Returning with receipt. They really don't even care, to them you are returning one item from the receipt and when they scan everything it works fine and you get your refund.

Was in a different HD today buying the M12 Fuel multi tool using the battery return hack. HD website did not show this brad nailer in stock there but decided to look and found one hidden on a top shelf behind other nailers. So I ended buying this with the battery return hack.

I really have a problem, I am constantly buying tools with the hack. I have no real need for this nailer as I have a perfectly fine pneumatic rigid nailer. I have the Fuel grinder still in the box from early in the summer, but at least that is my only grinder. The fuel circular saw can also be had with the battery hack but I already have the brushless circular saw but it didn't come with the dust port attachment.

You do not want to be using this nailer with anything more than a 3.0. 5.0s and above are way too heavy for this tool, especially if you're using it all day long at shoulder level or higher. There's a reason they sell this kit specifically with a 2.0 battery.

You can't do this with the online bundle, what they ship you is the tool and battery together under one sku.

If you go to the store and buy the tool only and the separate battery it will ring up with the free battery and then your return value for each item will be shown and then you can return the battery by itself.

Yea thats what I heard. I may need to return and re-ring them separately if this deal is even still going.

Hi there, could you provide some insight into what do you use it for in a regular basis. You seem happy with the tool. It's this a good tool to keep at home or is it of not much value to a homeowner if one's not in the trade.

I don't believe this is a tool that you would use on a regular basis, this is purely for trim work or small wood work. The benefit of this vs a pneumatic is the use of the battery and not using a compressor.

If you know you have a project coming up that needs a brad nailer, or at some point you are going to replace the trim in your house, then it may be worth it. But if nothing like that is on the horizon, not sure this is needed.

With all that being said, I bought one even though I have a perfectly good pneumatic brad nailer and a perfectly good compressor. I have a huge problem with buying Milwaukee tools using the battery return hack, it is such a good deal that it is hard to pass up. And since I have a ton of Milwaukee batteries it doesn't make sense to go to a Ryobi battery brad nailer, thought they are much cheaper and are supposed to be very good as well.
