Here's hoping Amazon price matches the AirPods.
It definitely is getting more cumbersome to update for the past few months. Insufficient space. Have to unpair watch to get updates. Kind of annoying but worth holding off til next years models imo
On Apple Watch 3? Nope they do update I got one last week on my Apple Watch Series 3

Edit: pic of new update

Why is it Walmart's fault? They didn't lose the package, the mail did. Walmart offered to give your money back and you said that you still want the product so they are going to look into it and get back to you.
Any time I order anything from Walmart, I encounter some sort of issue. Also, I do blame Walmart in this instance. The item did not get lost in the mail, it got lost when they gave it to a DoorDash driver.

The item was originally supposed to be delivered by Thursday - I assumed by UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. I was anxious to receive, but perfectly fine waiting until then. Instead, I got an email last night saying it was available in a local store and would be delivered from there today - "in a clear plastic store bag". If provided the option, I would have just picked it up in store myself once I received that email.

I understand packages get lost between warehouses and sorting machines. I don't understand a pair of AirPods getting lost from a store 5 minutes away, while being transported in someone's personal car. I blame Walmart for using DoorDash.

Eh honestly you are just upset and want to blame Walmart. They are trying to resolve it for you. Not sure what you else you expect them to do.

I just went back to double check what I posted. I never said I was expecting them to do anything else at this time. Like you said, they are looking into it and trying to resolve for me. I simply said I don't want to waste any more of my time with Walmart deals.

I'm sorry if you are a Walmart fan and I offended you with my post. I have run into too many issues with them over the years. I have gone to pick up orders, only to find out it isn't ready and/or not in stock (after receiving my email saying it was ready). I have also received wrong items in shipments, along with shipments missing items, among several other issues.

I'm not upset over a pair of headphones. I'm just annoyed that they would choose to ship this way and now I'm stuck dealing with extra work. At this point, I am tempted to take the refund and just pay the $30 extra at Best Buy. When I initially ordered, both Amazon and Costco went live with the same price. I was about to cancel my Walmart order and go through either of them. Now I wish I had. Costco has never given me any issues. Any issue I ever encounter at Amazon over the years is always resolved in a 5 minute chat - not multiple calls and having to wait 48 hours.

Again - not upset and sorry if offended in anyway. Just annoyed.

Sorry buddy, but I'm really not one of those to go back and forth over dumb stuff. This started off with me just sharing my updates, as other people were also waiting to see when their items were coming.

I guess we will leave it at that though. You win... I'm just sitting over here crying at my keyboard and throwing a tantrum over a pair of headphones... 😢

To anyone else still waiting on an order, I hope you get yours soon and don't have any issues like me. Have a great evening all!

Beware porch pirates! Got my AirPods in a plastic Walmart back from DoorDash. It was just left by my door. Super easy to identify and steal!
Thanks for this info. I received a unknown text. when i googled it it said doordash. So walmart used doordash to pickup my product from a local store and shared my info with doordash (one i cancelled).

Based on what he posted prior, it's either someone at Walmart(it was coming from a local store) or the Doordash guy took it.

NOT use a service such as DoorDash.

Look at others in this thread about their home deliveries being dropped at the front door in a Walmart bag, probably delivered by Doordash too. That's ridiculous. They should be offering curbside pickup or use proper/reliable shipping channels.

They are making a big deal about trying to compete with Amazon but this isn't the way to do it.

Just reading through the experiences everyone has shared, I am a little shocked about Walmart's stint with DoorDash.

Fortunately, I had a seamless experience. I ordered the Airpods Pro and Apple Watch 42mm on the 27th. Received the Airpods on the 30th in a non-clear bag stuffed into the mailbox. The Apple Watch came today in a pretty big Walmart branded box. I did notice that the USPS tracking numbers sat at "Package Created" till the actual delivery day but changed to delivered once i got them.

Finally got mine today, via USPS. Only took an entire week. Oh well, at least I finally got them.

I will say after the slow shipping and reading the other stories of DoorDash usage, unless there is a price too good to pass up, I won't be using Walmart.com again, anytime soon.

Still waiting for the delivery. USPS said "Pre-shipment", and initial estimate delivery is Dec 3rd. It was a long and slow shipping. The funny thing is the package is waiting in the USPS facility which is half an hour from my home for more than 2 business day now.

Next time, I should go with Target/Amazon.

FYI,
The USPS tracking number WalMart had for my package was NOT the same as the shipping label my item was shipped with. WalMart's tracking number is still pending shipping, whereas the actual item arrived to me with a different tracking number.
May have been a single instance of a slip up, but figured I'd let others know.

Id probably keep the walmart ones and return the amazon ones. Amazon returns you just drop of a the UPS store. Nobody wants to wait in line at customer service counter at walmart.

I need some help from the community please. I got my new AirPods Pro end love them. Last night I was literally listening to music while washing dishes and one AirPod fell in the sink in little water for literally 15 seconds than I grabbed. As of this am won't even turn on. I'm 9 days in. Walmart is accepting the return online in which I can mail in and they will replace etc.. I didn't buy apple care or Walmart plan though I could technically buy now. I assume that isn't necessary and Walmart will just take them and issue a replacement. I don't think anyone would call me after the fact of receiving to inform there was slight water damage on one AirPod... i will mail today unless someone else has had an experience or knows Walmart enough and has better advice? I know... keep away from water... but too late for that advice. Any input on the return
