Found this deal on BestBuy. I think it's a great deal for $1500 with a RTX 2070 Super with 300 hz refresh rate.

You may want to add the price ($1500) in the title.

I did but when I entered the link it made up its own title... looking now how to edit it.

Only big downside I'm seeing to this one is the ram is soldered. Otherwise for a 2070 super, I'm having a hard time believing you'll find a much better price.

Another thing to consider is that this thing is heavy. Almost a pound heavier than the M15 posted earlier. It does have a 2070S vs a Max Q but I do think the M15 is a better buy if you want a more convenient package and don't need the absolute best performance.

The 2070 Max Q is pretty powerful, but the Super is considerably faster. On the other hand, the Super runs a lot hotter.

Oh it's definitely enough. Some people get real picky about that though and want the option for 32gb or more. Just figured it was worth pointing out. I'm not nearly that picky and I'm really hemming and hawing on this one. Mostly about wanting to outlay the cash to upgrade my 1060 gaming laptop or not.

300hz is not good thing if you value battery life as it doesn't allow it to be switched to using IGPU at all. So it uses 2070 at all times.

144hz Gync is the one that will allow switching to IGPU to save on battery. Some say almost double battery compared to 300hz

Specs say it's virtual reality ready. I was looking at ASUS ROG M15 posted earlier for $1,250 at best buy but the specs of that does not specify virtual ready. The specs are not a lot different. I assume both laptops can be used for VR? Thanks!!

How long will the battery last if I do video editing and turn to 144hz?

I'd hang on for the 30xx series considering we are seeing laptops with 2060 in the $600 range already. It would be nice to see 30xx series with starting price $1000 like the 20xx series.
