You are on the wrong website. You need to move along and visit SlickCraigsBayer.com. Congrats, you just bragged about the little beer money you just earned and robbed opportunities for 8 people who could have actually use these TVs

This is probably better than the Hisense, but not by much. Rtings has reviews on previous models on both. The Samsung is definitely not worth $250 more. I'd say the only upgrade from these that would be worth it would be a TCL 6 series or the comparable midrange Hisense.

I have a TCL 6 series, Hisense from BB, and Onn from Walmart. The 6 series is noticeably better than the other two but not by a massive margin. The Hisense and Onn are almost identical in terms of image quality.

It's insane to me that they can sell quality 4k 65" TVs for this price. Like seriously, the Hisense and Onn look unbelievable for the price.

100% agree, I am a flipper myself but I don't even like all the retail flipping going on nowadays. Its hard to find anything in stock because people want to flip it for a few more dollars. I concentrate on vintage/hard to find items from thrift stores & garage sales. I couldn't even find a swimming pool for my kids this year, but plenty were online for triple the price. I pass on stuff like this all the time just because I don't feel its right and there is plenty of other items to buy to flip without taking all the retail stock.

To all those complaining about the Android OS...

Go into developer settings (click on "about" in settings 7 times until it says "you are now a developer") and change the three animation scaling settings from 1 to .5 or off. Then change the number of background processes to "at most 4" from the standard default.

Boom. Snappy OS.
Believe you have to click on "Build" under the "About" menu 7ish times, but yeah.

I got two of these bad boys last week. They're awesome. If they last, a great deal.

I got one but the viewing angle is horrible. Did I just get a bad panel, or is this to be expected? My 65" Onn from Walmart isn't nearly as bad, so just curious.

Bought the last 65" they had on sale for 229. Got it home unboxed and It was broke. When I called back to let them know it was broke they told me they had many returned because stocking just shoved them around cause they got a lot in. Long story short just be prepared to return. Manager wasn't apologetic and told me that's what I get for buying a cheap TV.

I really like the roku interface on the hisense better than the android os on the TCL but being able to cast to the TCL puts it slightly ahead for me
How is the quality of the casting? I've heard that it's not great, and has sync issues.
