My first deal post! I just ordered one for store pickup, will update this post with a review after I setup at the office tomorrow morning.

Update: Picked up the monitor this morning, great looking monitor with minimal bezels and a fast easy setup. Straight out of the box its calibrated nicely though I will need to adjust to my preferences. I am mostly using my system for tech and basic graphic design work along with some light audio and video editing. At the moment my laptop is being stubborn and defaulting to the Intel GPU, updating drivers so I can take full advantage of 1050Ti. Very good buy at $260
No way, this guy codes too fast for 30Hz...
Great monitors paid $359 earlier this year. Make sure your system can run them at 60hz. At 30hz they flicker. Currently using a new MacBook Pro to drive these at native resolution USB-C to DisplayPort.

It just seems like an average monitor. 60HZ. Not a high-gamut monitor. Only 300 nits. HDR10 just means it does *something* with 10-bit color (it might be an 8-bit panel with cycling to get 1024 colors). 28". FreeSync so you can play games at 40Hz. Well whoop-de-freaking-dup! What's the big deal about this item?

Also, samsung monitors have stands that SUCK, they are way too deep to shove the monitor flat against a wall!

People have this rabid fascination with Samsung which is misplaced. I can only imagine that this rabid fascination is driving this deal.

At our house we use a TCL 43S405 TV ($229) and Sony 43x800h ($440) for 4K monitors, they are both superior to this offering in different ways.

What do you recommend to someone who wants a monitor they can hook up to their 1660ti 10th Gen i5 Laptop. I'm thinking 25"-28" not sure if I should go 1440 because it's not native...

I picked up 27f HP Monitor from BB just yesterday, while nice not sure I want to keep it.

Just to be clear, are the complaints about this unit's VESA mount simply that it is 75 x 75, or is there some other issue (i.e. weirdly positioned)?

I bought these and I think it's just generally that the rear panel was designed with aesthetics over function. The circular inset is really frustrating. The vesa mount requires spacers to fit any 100/75mm mount. The mount is very high on the back, so your monitors will sit low. I bought a pair of riser plates, but these now block most of the rear ports. Additionally I had to use even more spacers because it turns out the lower rim of the circular inset extends out further than top. So I've got two sets of spacers and the riser plates just to get these monitors at the right height. This causes more wobble and plugging in the cables is a huge pain.

That said, the monitors image is great. Both seem a bit red and slightly over saturated, but probably a setting on my end I need to adjust or something.

Torn on if I'll keep these.

Just got one of these the other day. Can't beat the price. It's a 4k IPS monitor from Samsung. 28in is a good size for my designing work

I currently have a 24" 1920x1080. Is this going to be too small viewing up close for photoshop work? Will be hooking to a mac mini m1.
