Q: Can someone clarify if AT&T prepaid WiFi calling works on all Unlocked phones? Why I ask is, I am using Cricket wireless and WiFi calling works only on Cricket branded phones and my home doesn't have good signal and rely on WiFi calling

I've been on the 8gb + 17gb walmart/At&t Prepaid plan for over a year and it looks like they're still offering it. 25gb of full speed data with hotspot for $40.00 per month is still a pretty good deal. Ya just need to purchase a cheap prepaid phone from them. I actually ended up returning mine after I got the 17gb bonus data.
These look like decent, single-month commitment options without much hoops to jump through. But I agree the Walmart plan is better at $40 and even the yearly $300 ($25/month) is better for the lowest price; that $300/year is 8 GB plus rollover and tethering. The catch is that you need to port in and have to commit for the year. My wife just renewed her yearly plan for the same price.

Why would you go with ATT prepaid? 5G is only on $60 plan. Verizon includes 5G on all its prepaid. Hope ATT follows suit. Visible will also have 5G by end of year. That is $25/mo deprioritized data. So there ping times are longer.
I heard Verizon prepaid does not include 5G coverage or in-order to get 5G on prepaid Verizon needs a different plan(prepaid). Is that true?
I just switched from the old $45/month to the $30 plan. I sent some text messages with no issue but am being charged $0.25 for each MMS, anyone know why?
Spoke to customer service this afternoon and they couldn't fix it. They said the older version of the $30 plan didn't cover MMS and is causing issues now after being added

I guess it depends on coverage needs and the number of lines on the account. With 2 lines it will cost $25 each ($30x2 - $10 multi-line discount). With Verizon it will take 9 months to get to the price and no multi-line discount.
OP, so did you compare with your previous plan $50 with the new $40 plan switch the difference between two?
I'm in the same boat as you and noticed the $50 has international roaming Mexico and Canada and the $40 doesn't talk about international roaming 🤔

I pay $25/ month for ATT 8gb prepaid with rollover. This doesn't look as good to me. Am I missing something? Am on my second year of it right now. Would have switched to mint if not for the same price for the second year.

I was about to commit to that, then discovered GoPhone groups. I'm an American who is paying a Canadian who owns an American account with 10 lines total. Weird, I admit, but I zelle a guy every 6 months and my service stays on lol.
$34/month for Unlimited Plus. I'd probably be happier with Red Pocket's $300 annual 20GB plan ($25/mo). I'm paying an extra $100 for the same service since I'm usually under 10GB without any kind of rationing. The freebies aren't even good like HBO Max, but 100GB AT&T cloud (which is always down).
Moreso just holding it for now. It includes unlimited 5G, which I don't need at the moment. However, if you told me years ago that I could have paid $25 and grandfathered in an unlimited 4G plan, I would have passed because it was too pricey. I'll be thanking myself for a $34/month unlimited 5G plan in a few years.

Tell at&t that mint mobile is less than half those prices. Why and how is this a slick deal?
Doesn't Mint use T-Mobile still? Many people don't get good T-Mobile coverage. Doesn't work at my cabin and is usually a complete fail on most of my hunting and fishing adventures. Been a few months since I tried T-Mobile but hoping things change when they're done absorbing Sprint.

$35 plan has 5G
They give you $60 credit. So effectively it covers excess charges over $35 for 9 months.
Will Pixel 3a work with prepaid AT&T? Does it have the necessary hardware/bands? Can someone confirm it? Thanks.
