I want to compare this with Apple Macbook Air M1 16GB Ram,
which one would you guys suggest ?
It is going to be my personal laptop where I would install some Visual studio code and do some programming.
M1s are better at managing heat,

The metrics I've seen on Youtube for the M1 Macs is amazing ... especially considering their wattage. I do a fair bit of coding and plan to grab a M1 mac for my daily driver, but I'm waiting. Here is why:
  1. You can't run virtualized x86_64 platforms...yet. I need Windows for some things.
  2. Docker doesn't work yet
  3. Homebrew works but many packages don't
  4. Laptop M1's only support a single connection to an external monitor

That said, this laptop looks like a nice machine on paper - great screen, respectable memory, good storage, and in a thin and light package. The 11th gen parts are supposed to be slightly better thermally over the 10th gen with better graphics performance.

The problem with Apple macs are that they dont have faster upgrade cycles, the next upgrade may be a year later or 2.
I mostly work on MS technologies, so i think with your valid points, I should go for a Wn OS than Mac OS.
Will be looking at offers on business laptops, so it is durable for the next 3-4 years at the least.

I did it with an online agent. I had not worked with them before, here is how it worked in case it helps others:
they ended up saving a 1049 quote in my account, which was 60-70$ lower than what CYBER15 does as of today.
I could still go through rktn cash back and use payment method I prefer, which made it competetive enough for today.

welp guess I should have tried that. Also, I am still so confused about cashback sites but I did it for this order and got $80ish back so I'm happy.

raw total power of 4700u is amazing. But this is unbeatable in single core/dual core workloads look at those numbers also. Thunderbolt 4 here (or any thunderbolt's convenience) is useful to a lot of people.
