The last "free line" wasn't free, and made me lose my grandfathered plan, even though I was promised multiple times it was fine. Proceed with caution.

T-Force said I can just add the line from the t-mobile app. It showed $30/mo but the T-Force rep said it will be free and that the promotion gets applied automatically. Is there some way for me to verify that the promo was applied?

So is there any reason not to believe that the Costco BYOD $200 gift card promo will get rejected if we take advantage of the 50% off Pixel promo after the fact (through T-mobile)?

We know the Pixel promo can stack with the free line, but it still is a phone discount from adding the line, which kinda conflicts with the Costco BYOD fine print.

It does. I got the LG k51. All I did was pay $14 to cover the tax portion. Now I'm getting credit for it each month so it balances it out at $0.
This is referring to the last promo? It seems like there are more restrictions this time around.

You can always chat with afterwards and they can check on their end. I would give it at least a day after you add the line to see if it shows up on it's own. Some people have reported seeing the discount on the line details within 15 minutes and others have been waiting over 24 hours for it to show up.

Yesterday got a new line added at Costco (included the $200 GC). Promo showed in my acct shortly after. Then I chatted w/ T-mo last night to port in a Verizon number (for $100 GC) then when that was done, I worked with him to get the 50% off of a OnePlus 8t promo.
Interesting. Did you ask T-mo rep that you are port-in the Verizon number to replace the phone # you got in Costco?

Just tried to get socCode, it shows:
ratePlan: {socCode: "PCF1KT", name: "Classic 1000 Minute - Talk", planType: "OTHER"}
name: "Classic 1000 Minute - Talk"
planType: "OTHER"
socCode: "PCF1KT"
Not even sure if "PCF1KT" is the right code, it's not even listed on reddit.
There is no accountDiscounts line in dev tools either.
Anybody else here "walking in my socks"? Wave

I'd just be concerned about getting the number out, but I'll probably just take a bigger haircut on an eBay number and move on with my life. At some point it's not worth worrying this much over $10.
Agreed - done purchased a Verizon # off ebay. Paid $1 more than last night damn sellers raised prices.

Once info comes will port over costco temp number.

Starting 11/25 existing T-Mobile customers on an eligible plan with at least 2 paid lines can add a line for free.

Eligible SOC codes: https://i.imgur.com/c8F0J4a.jpg
I have a one line Magenta account, SOC is MAGENTA (NOT MAGENTA2/MAGENT9).

Can I add lines from other carrier to get a free line?
If I can, do I need to add one or two lines?

Thanks in advance.

The Verizon one? Yeah about 2 hours ago. I just called tforce and ported the number in on a new line and got the pixel 4a 5g for free with trade in of a pixel 2xl.

Did you fill your ebay Verizon number on both Costco & T-mo rebate forms?

Yes. They looked at the Costco assigned number as a 'temporary' number. Said that's common. The number I ported in would be what gets put down in the Costco rebate.

However I think I may have screwed up my eligibility by jumping on that 50% promo

Link for red pocket? Wish there was a specific list provided by T-Mobile to take the guessing out

I messaged for fun tmobile and asked.. rep said google voice ineligible for rebate. However i take with a grain of salt. Bet if i msg again get a yes sure it works lol

I transferred a red pocket line in the last deal in Sept. It worked for me at the time.
But it was a bit of effort to get the PIN and code from Redpocket support to make the transfer work. a few time back and forth (first time the pin and code was wrong and the second time got the right code but they did not approve the transfer on red pocket system, and the third time a CS on red pocket approved it and finally through).

hope this help.

They were denied simply because these numbers came from GV?
Yep, people think once the numbers are ported over, they're safe as far as getting the rebates. That's not the case. Rebates were denied and GV was the reason given. It's very YMMV.

The Costco $200 rebate (shop card) is for adding a new line...not BYOD.

I think you should be fine w/ the Costco rebate because you met the requirement by adding a new line before the promo ends. Not sure about T-mo rebate.

Anyone showing "2020 Line On Us 3" under applied promotions and discounts after adding line at Costco? Mine is 20 hours and still not showing up that discount. 2 Tforce rep said they do see the discount applied on the line and will reflect on next bill but worried as it should show that immediately after that
