I did this upgrade path. Everything about the FE is nicer, although the Note 8 shape is a bit more palmable. The FE has some screen touch issues which the Note 8 did not. Much better battery life on FE. Samsung is working on the FE. At free after rebate (via bill credits), it was a no brainer upgrade for me on Sprint.
HELP!

How did you get it free after rebate? Did you have to trade in a phone? When I called Sprint didn't have any good deals to offer unless I traded a phone in. And I couldn't get this deal at Costco with a Sprint account.

I'm also coming from Note 8 and the battery life has gotten extremely bad.

Anyone can confirm if this will work for sprint customers since now part of tmobile?

Can sprint customers use this deal?
Nope. I waited over 30 minutes at Costco and I was denied because they can't access m account.

So you're asking if a T-Mobile branded phone will work on tmobile networks?

Really?

Anyone know this phone? Just looking for experiences with it
My wife got one 2 weeks ago and my Sister just received hers. As far as my wife's opinion and what I seen it's a really nice phone, camera is great with 32mp resolution 30x zoom and night mode, the screen refresh rate is 120Hz so transition is nice and smooth. for the price, if you don't want all the bells and whistles but still want a few most used upgrades this is probably the one you want.

Upgraded to this phone from an s8 when this came out a couple of months ago..I've had no touchscreen issues and the battery has been amazing. Only complaint is that the phone gets super hot when using youtube tv or Disney plus and it's a known issue which has not been addressed yet. Regular youtube works fine.

Any recommendations on when to go to the store to redeem this without it being super packed and waiting on a long line? Would Nov 30 be the best, or would they run out of inventory by then?

I've had mine for a month now and have no screen issues. I really like it.
Fingerprint reader will sometimes take a couple tries but that's from the glass screen protector i put on.

Using S20 FE for over a month now - a huge upgrade over S8+ I carried before. One problem, however, here in SoCal I'm getting 5bar 5G coverage in quite a few areas, whenever I see 5bars in 5G I try speed test to a local T-Mobile speed test server and I'm getting 2-3mbps down and about 10 up... read some people also have a similar problem. Very annoying. Only once did I get actually about 40mbps down. Not sure if this is a phone or TMobile 5G but when your phone is fast and the network is slow - it is noticeable.
It is the network. 5G is a farce. It'll take some more time before 5G infrastructure is improved. You may see upgraded speeds when you're out in open and close to a tower.
