Do we need to open the phones and put the sim to get the rebate? Costco rep told me that there is no need to open the phone. Can someone who did previous similar rebates confirm?
They did not told me to open and put Sim. Rep said u can put the Sim whenever later u want.

The Costco I went to yesterday ran out of inventory. Said they only had 15 in stock and ran out by noon. Any chance they will release additional inventory each day? Or can I check inventory at other stores somehow without calling in?
When I got it they it was the same situation they said they sold approx 15 phones, they had only 2 more for the day. Only blue in color.

Got my adjustment of $100 + tax today. It's very good deal for this phone on existing tmo users that no need a trade-in or add a line.

Can I use my Costco membership but put the phone on an account that's not mine and the person is not the with me (they can be on the phone or authorize me ahead of time with T-Mobile)? The rebate will come to me?

Instead, could that person use my Costco membership without me there to put it on their T-Mobile account?

My review:

Screen: It is indeed a 1080p flat panel (no curve) however its 120hz refresh so its super smooth. It has more than enough fidelity to look good on videos, photos and web. Coming from a QHD phone i notice very little different

Size: The only "downside" to this phone id say is the dimensions. Its skinnier and taller than something like an S10 so its definitely in two hand typing territory. But its not unmanageable.

Speakers: Definitely acceptable for a phone speaker, comparing to my S9+ the FE definitely has less fidelity but unless you're doing a side by side comparison you won't notice.

Value: Super good value for what you pay. The 128GB is plenty of space, the "plastic" back feels very sturdy, and the processor is very zippy. If the size isn't a turn off, I'd reccomend!

For T-Mobile rebates, the system checks if the phone IMEI was activated at one time on their system when the rebate is about to be processed. It doesn't have to be on the line the whole time.
Since both the $200 and $300 rebates are thru Costco, one of the requirements says "Device must be active for at least 3 billing cycles..
so, by Device do they refer to "Line" or "Phone" ? If Line, then both the BYOD and the S20FE rebates should work.
Based on my experience, They just check if the Line is still active after 3 months.
What is the $200 offer?
Can you elaborate.

Tmobile site is offering FE for $99 with port in or new line added. So why Costco deal is so special?

New line is like $20 a month for 24 months plus T-Mobile will probably try to gouge you on some bogus activation fee, so unless you actually need that new line you're basically paying full price for the phone. This Costco phone is basically straight-up getting the phone for $260, give or take since you have to pay tax on the full $530.

Still a good deal. I was starting to think Costco phones don't actually exist after all the good Costco deals that get posted here never seem to actually materialize at any of my nearby stores.

Oh, and as an aside for anyone who already bought this pre-BF and is trying to price match, go to the returns counter and don't let them try to send you to the wireless kiosk, the kiosk is probably going to have hours worth of lines and will just send you back to returns anyway.

You already spelled out why, you have to port in or setup a new line. Costco just verifies you have Tmobile account and your done. You also are not locked in to 24 months months of bill credits, just the couple of months it will take to get the costco gift card.

I just got this phone. There's no problems with the touchscreen at all. Would definitely recommend this. The person above me doesn't own one.

Anyone know this phone? Just looking for experiences with it
Had it since launch. Rock solid. Fast, great battery life. Pictures best I've had but not stellar like top end phones. Some report issues with touch screen but I have not observed any issues on mine.

Do I need to use the phone to get costco gift card? I am planning to keep using my Pixel 3A and give this phone to someone.
