Confirmed NO touchscreen. Don't know where you got that data point from but this explains why it's not advertised.
Lots of light leakage in 3 corners.
Feels flimsy going from metal (14/15 13.3" Macbook Air) to plastic but nevertheless light for size.
Audio is bit tin can for price. Would think it'd be better than this well aged Macbook but far from it.
Speedy enough, full keyboard is nice. Enjoy the larger screen for kid; long hours in school.
93 days later - I have the cash back in my checking - $94 just made these 2 laptops super sweet deal. I upgraded the memory to 16gbs on both (bought 2 matched 8gb sticks installed into 1 laptop, moved 1 8gb stick over to match in other laptop -$45) used one of the existing/removed 4gb sticks to upgrade my father-in-law's laptop to 12gb upgraded the wifi ($15 per card) add 1tb ssd drives to both (used $50 amex credit on each ssd drive $40 per ssd) had to buy cable and ssd drive supports (roughly $20 per setup) ...I have 2 $1K setups for roughly $550 each.
