What Do I Need To Do To Get This Offer?
  • This is a targeted offer from T-Mobile and is only open to select existing customers that meet the following requirement:
    • You must have a qualifying T-Mobile postpaid plan with 2 or more lines that falls under one of the following SOC Codes shown in this image (see instructions below on how to find your SOC code).
      • SOC (Service Order Code): The technical term used to describe plans and services that are added to customers' accounts within T-Mobile's billing systems.
    • If you are certain you qualify, login to your account below and:
    • Alternatively, you may call T-Mobile and a representative can assist you with adding your 3rd line.
      • If calling, promotion name is "2020 Line On Us 4".
Instructions to find your SOC code (thanks to Reddit user massiveprodigy):
  1. Using the Google Chrome web browser (desktop version), open the Developer tools panel on the right (Ctrl+Shift+I)
  2. Click on Network tab
  3. Click on XHR tab
  4. Log in my.t-Mobile.com and click Account at the top.
  5. In developer tools panel, choose manageaccount from the list on the left
  6. Account level promos will appear under accountDiscounts
  7. Line level features will appear under lines > # > addOns
  8. If there is a pending change, you can see exactly what it is by clicking productsPendingChange
  9. Rate plan appears under ratePlans

The older free lines, you only had to keep the existing paid lines, not future ones added after those free ones.

You are correct, your plan only allows up to 3 lines.

Since the free line doesn't get kickbacks is your setup to be able to use the data from the free line and stay under 2 GB for the paid lines. I might need to look into this, I never knew about dual SIM. I'm assuming iPhone 12 Pro Max has the capability?

I gave my current FREE line to my nephew to use but I've always been on the fence about changing plans just to add another FREE line because I really had no need for it. I'll need to see if changing plans will even be financially beneficial.

My GV number worked, I signed up the GV number literally couple of days before porting in, just received my GV port-in for the $100 promo from T-Mobile and used it on my bill today, I guess it depends on what service provider was used on the GV number?

Newer iPhone should support eSim. For some reason TMO doesn't allow with Samsung phones.

Yea. Both phones iPhones. Setup is so that data is used from the free line. Don't have to worry about my data usage from that line because line is free. Paid line data usage is then alway under 2gbs to receive kickback because it's not being used.

You should definitely do so if you can. Can only save you money. No real downside.
