I got switched to magenta when tried to add to 9th line.. and had a rep to switch back to tmo one. with 10 lines now.
Ah ok. As the All In One Promo wouldn't work/be available on a Magenta plan, of course. If you don't have the promo on any of the existing lines it might be more of a hassle to fight it back.

Mine got removed at the same time when I opted into the free Netflix. It was technically a new plan. Didn't notice until wayyy later that it my one plus promo got removed. Haven't been able to convince a rep to add it back. That 10gb of 4g hotspot was where the value was, 3g hotspot is literally unusable.
That make sense. Maybe in a year or two they'll upgrade everyone to 4G bc 5G is the norm.

Added new line myself online Sunday night, just got the text confirmation of the promo and the SIM shipping email this morning. Can also now see the new line on the account with the doubled 2020 line on us 3 credit amount (also got the free line in November).
Same except I add new line yesterday. 2 paid lines plus 4 free lines for $96/month.

Thanks Jman100! I tried to rep but SD won't allow.

FWIW I was strongly considering adding the free line and using it on my physical SIM card on my dual sim iPhone 12 and then switching my existing line to the eSIM so that I can use all the data I want and still receive Kickback on my line, but realized the when you activate dual SIM you lose 5G service. Bummer.
I was considering the exact same thing but then stumbled upon the same limitation.
Quote :
While using two lines in Dual SIM mode, 5G data isn't supported on either line and will fall back to 4G LTE. In China mainland, 5G data is supported while using two active lines in Dual SIM mode on the line that's using cellular data. In China mainland, while using Dual SIM with 5G, 5G Standalone isn't available.

I need to find out if I can switch numbers and lines within the account so that I can move a heavy data number to the free line to continue to receive kickbacks on the existing line. If that makes sense. Wink

Looks like my code is eligible, but a tmobile rep in a sales office near me (wait times too long on tmobile.com) told me that it would be $30 to get tmobile sim, to port over that additional line. is that true?

It's $10 for the SIM card and $20 for activation. Sometimes you can get them to waive or credit those fees.

Free at Costco or I saw adding an line online waives the $20. If you call maybe you can say you would have done it online but you wanted to get the promo so they should waive the fee because you had to call.

if you are not in hurry, you can do it online yourself and save $20 or talk to a rep and ask him it waive the fees.

I see this -
$20 2020 Line on Us 3 (Additional Lines)
I now have a total of 8 lines on MAGENTA2. I was expecting the

$20 2020 Line on Us 4 (Additional Lines) since I didn't take the free line offered a month ago.
I'm starting to think there will be a lot of hassle to get this corrected (as always when adding something to the account). In the past when the promo is applied correctly it usually appears instantly on my account.

Someone has mentioned before that LOU4 kicks off LOU3. I'm starting to wonder if the Nov line is no longer free and that's why the reps keeps telling me the credit is applied to the new line, but my total went up by $30.

If you have an old, unused TMO SIM card you can also use that and add the line to it. Then they don't charge you for a new SIM card.
I had trashed old SIM cards previously. Best practice is now to keep them somewhere as they might become handy in the future (more free lines).
