What Do I Need To Do To Get This Offer?
  • This is a targeted offer from T-Mobile and is only open to select existing customers that meet the following requirement:
    • You must have a qualifying T-Mobile postpaid plan with 2 or more lines that falls under one of the following SOC Codes shown in this image (see instructions below on how to find your SOC code).
      • SOC (Service Order Code): The technical term used to describe plans and services that are added to customers' accounts within T-Mobile's billing systems.
    • If you are certain you qualify, login to your account below and:
    • Alternatively, you may call T-Mobile and a representative can assist you with adding your 3rd line.
      • If calling, promotion name is "2020 Line On Us 4".
Instructions to find your SOC code (thanks to Reddit user massiveprodigy):
  1. Using the Google Chrome web browser (desktop version), open the Developer tools panel on the right (Ctrl+Shift+I)
  2. Click on Network tab
  3. Click on XHR tab
  4. Log in my.t-Mobile.com and click Account at the top.
  5. In developer tools panel, choose manageaccount from the list on the left
  6. Account level promos will appear under accountDiscounts
  7. Line level features will appear under lines > # > addOns
  8. If there is a pending change, you can see exactly what it is by clicking productsPendingChange
  9. Rate plan appears under ratePlans
Can This Be Combined With Other Offers?

Thanks. I appreciate if you can update in 24-48 hours. Yep as I said, I always got "congrats" text when promo is added, then "your promo dropped off text" next day. Then, got rep to Re-added then got "congrats" text. Next day "promo dropped off text" again. Let me see if I still keep that $40 Line on Us 2 screen shot and will update this post.

I want to add a line but I have added lines at costco recently with byod promotion. Can I add the free line and cancel the Costco down the road? Will it impact at all?

Cannot cancel a line within 12 months after adding free line, otherwise you lose the free line. Can do it after 12 months.

Looks like they updated their guidance. Chatted with T-Force via Twitter and previously they told me this was a BOGO for the free line, but they got back to me about 30 minutes ago and told me it was indeed a true free line. Just got it added, waiting to see the discount appear in my account now.

My game plan is let this playout for 24-48 hours, see if others are receiving "2020 Line On Us 4," and if so, then do the deal at Costco to add the $200 BYOD deal. Besides, it's too crazy to try this at Costco on the Sunday before Christmas.
