It's deals like this that make me want to upgrade my plan. Been with them for over 15 years now and paying $85 for unlimited web and calls / texts. But I don't get any of the new features and promos they've been putting out.

To everyone read the OP "PSA: COSTCO BYOD IS NOT STACKABLE!
They specifically call this out in the docs this time."
Wasting your time...
Noone read any more, they will try every which way to get all the benefits. Even next T-Mobile Free line in 2021, we still be seeing the same questions, same complain about T-Mobile screwed them up.
Good luck to all.

I have T-Mobile ONE plan. I called and they were able to add free line. Have to pay $10 for new sim card, she waived the $20 activation fee.
What was your SOC? I was told NOPE.

I'm afraid of that as well. But you know the way these Reps give guarantee so I think I can trust them. In worst case like u said, cancel the line and get refund.
I just chatted with a rep and she verified that our plan (10SCFM4) is not eligible (didn't see it in her list).

Question for any experts out here. I tried adding a line to my T-Mobile One plan Today bringing me to line 9. I was on the 8 line plan before.

I had This Ones On Us (AAL) on my plan before the change. It disappeared. Now I'm hearing This Ones on Us is not compatible with the 9 line plan. Anyone on a 9 to 12 plan with This Ones on Us working for them?

I know megenta2 has a $5 autopay discount for up to 8 lines. If you add this free line as your 9th line, do you need to pay the $5 since 9-12 line do not have autopay discount? TIA.
Not if it's a free line, you don't pay anything on taxes and fees included plans.

yes, it happens to be the one of lifetime events..lol..you know. They asked me to move to T-Mobile One unlimited so many times but two months ago during the last free line promo I hit the snag where couldn't add another free line due to the limit on old SC plan. The rep was a veteran, I told her I don't want to lose fam intl stateside grandfather feature. She told me she is from those days 2014 I think when this feature was launched for only a few months. She moved me to new max of 10 lines and after moving, I went to Inspect page and can see the fam intl feature still there. So all in good.

I have 8 lines total out of which 4 are free including yesterday promo. Still have room for 2 more lines.

Here is the desc. of SC legacy plan. Came from her. So she knew what she was doing.

Simple Choice Legacy Voice plans - closed 7/15/15
Line 1 - $50 – SOC: UTTVN / Simple Choice VAL UnlTT+D
Lines 1-2 - $80 – SOC: FUTTVN / SimpleChoice Val FAM UnlTT+D
AAL lines 3-5 - $10 - ADDUTTVNC / Simple Choice VAL AAL UNL T+T
Lines 6-10 - $120 – SOC: SCFUTT6 / SC FAM UNL TT+D 6 lines incl.
AAL lines 7-10 - $10 AAL - ADDLINE20 / Family Unl TT+D AddALine
Thank you so much you replied for my previous post. So I need to change from my present SCUTTF4 to SCFUTT6 and then ask to apply sc code from 78 or 128 lines in the spread sheet to get unlimited lines? Is this correct? Really appreciate your help

I found my SOC to be "NAFUTT" (which looks to be eligible based on the list https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...mber_20th/) .... but when I go to my account and try to add a new line, it's telling me that the cost to add a new line is $25 due monthly, is there a promo code I need to put n somewhere? What am I doing wrong?

Has it changed to line on us 4 or singled lou3 this am?
Still on lou3 combined...the soc codes are the same for both lines, will give them some time to sort it out.

No promo code. You are doing nothing wrong. Just hit submit and add it.
It will become free the next day.
