I just switched to NAFUTT4 today from 10SCFM4. How could I take advantage of the current free add-a-line promo?

Do I just log in to my T-mobile account and add a line and it will be automatically free?

Do i need to wait some days before i can add a line for free? Thank you in advance.

I just added a line at Costco and got congrats text for promo but my total went up. Do we have to apply that data trick of changing it to show up?
Did you get the shop card at Costco?

Great. Can this be done online yourself? A used SIM OK?
I don't think you can get this free line offer yourself online. A used SIM may work if it shows up as available in the t-mobile systems. If it doesn't, ask the rep if they can change it to available. They may or may not be able to.

Just got back from Costco .... and Costco is giving $100 shop card with this exact promo. I just added a line at Costco.

He said you can also stack this up with iphone SE 50% off deal (not on restricted promo list).

Good Luck!
Does your Account History shows the new line is $0.0? Something like this:

New line xxx-xxx-xxxx was added to your account on xx/xx/2020 at xx:xx PM . This line is on the T-Mobile ONE plan for $0.0 per month plus taxes and fees.

I did it through Costco, and my submission got denied that it was due to ineligible activation source. When I checked with T-Mo, I was told the rebate was incorrectly submitted under my primary number and not for the ported one. However, I spoke to CS after porting to confirm that Costco activation was eligible for the rebate. I am expecting a follow up from T-Force tomorrow. I had submitted rebate again on 12/15. Let's see.
I got denied as well. I did it in Costco and I applied both rebates.

So the SIM card can be re-used? How did you add the new free line without getting charged for the $10 SIM card fee?
If you have an old TMO SIM card you can give them the number on it. They will then wave the fee as you already have a SIM card that will just be activated.

Thank you!
But I read that as long as your plan is eligible, you can add a line yourself and it'll be free.

Thanks OP! Got the free line added. Rep checked to make sure it can stack with the Line on Us 3 since I just started service last month. Said it does and noted all this. Waived the activation fee. Very nice and helpful. I'm loving T-Mobile even more since switching from Verizon (customer for over 10 years).

Wiki says costco byod is not stackable. Is 100 shop card instant or rebate?
If u buy a phone at Costco along adding a new line, Technically, it is not Boyd. The Costco 50% off is via rebate ($180) submitted thur T-Mobile promo dept.
Costco sell the phone for $360 which cheaper than T-Mobile ($399) .

Byod is referring to the $200 promo which was stackable during Nov free line. For this dec, it is no go.

Thanks. Yes I took the Nov offer ...rebate still pending

But this time seems we can only get thr free line if we're not going for a phone purchase.

Just a question is there a shop card if I add a new line and trade in s9 for free oneplus?

Where did you guys port in from?

I got mine denied also for the same reason but I was thinking it's due to i ported in from Google voice which was a risk anyway so I didn't bother to call T-Mobile to find out more details.
