I've tried 2x. Had a different issue and then they asked me if they could do anything else. brought up the One Plus. Last time, they said of course and then 5 minutes later said it was a retired promo and I could add it for $10 .

I will keep trying a couple times more. Then I will try to get the $5 promo. Maybe have better luck.

Do these agents keep notes and history of these conversations because I'm wondering if they look in my history I keep asking the same thing.
Yes. They have ability to add notes. One rep I chatted with copy/pasted some notes previous rep had left. So they def do have the capability..

Check your bill and accounts guys because you may get a increase in charges for adding a line because of system error. Call them immediately and get it fixed. I called them atleast 6 times to get it fixed even though each rep put the so called noted in the account.

This is why I prefer T-Force messenger, as long as you are asking for something that you are eligible for. I, and they, can still see the chat thread going back for months and further. If a former chat resulted in a discount, the current rep will usually try to oblige just because the info and promise is already there to be seen. . .saves some time in re-negotiating even though the T-Force process takes hours. . .but you can send a message and go about your day vs. sitting on hold on the phone

And yes, if you keep asking for the hail mary, like unqualified Hookup to existing account, over and over again. . .regardless of contact method, it will be noted on your account eventually as a flag. You need to nail that one or similar promo first couple of tries. And know when to go for the touchdown as well. Odds are better of not being flagged if you just ask them to add a specific promo code to account, rather than asking them to add "insider hookup" specifically over and over. Maybe even ask what kind of promos can be added to account, and let them work towards the goal. It's a turnoff for them for you to demand "I want this. . ." sometimes. Psych 101

Sorry guys to bother, I just can't understand the insider discount, would you mind telling me more about this? In return I have answers for anyone that wants to know about T-Mobile one plan with plus promo added and kickback. That's the plan I have.

just called and was able to secure this deal by saying i had covid and was not able to get it during the promo... of course ymmv
That's not going to stick. It's tied to the activation date of the line. If you didn't get in during the promo period, it's not going to work.

Is it also tied to the start date of the account?

I was told that my FLOU3 wouldn't stick because the account was started after Nov 25th. Its still hanging on for now...

I don't recall the start/end date of that promo.

If you add a line outside of the promo window, then the system will reject the promo credit. It's possible it'll stick around for a little bit before being removed, but will be removed eventually (barring a real break in the system).

In your example, if the offer was available on November 25, it doesn't matter if your account was established 10 years prior or on the same day you added the free line.

If you started account on November 24th you could do 2 paid lines and get the "3rd Line on Us" that day, and then on the next day you could also get the FLOU3 as the 4th line.

If you started account on November 25th, i.e. during FLOU3 promo, the FLOU3 IS the 3rd line. . .i.e. "3rd Line on Us" becomes "Third Line Free" (as they are only trying to give each customer 1 free line during promo) and you would have to wait until FLOU4 to get your 2nd free line total on account.

Anyways, that is their official policy, though stranger things have happened. Remember July 4th weekend they ran a July 4th themed FLOU at the same time 2020FLOU was active, and some people (like HurricaneAlley and joshythegreat18 above) were able to get both. But I think it worked for them because the July 4th one was coded or named differently (and they added both within the valid dates):

.Do your discounts show up like this:
$20 2020 3rd Line On Us (Additional Lines)
$20 2020 Line on Us 3 (Additional Lines)
$20 2020 Line On Us 4 (Additional Lines)

Is this supposed to be completely free or do you still pay for the plan? I have Magenta Amplified for 4 lines for unlimited everything for $160 per month. I added this 5th line and was told it will be free. Now I am getting charged $20 extra for plan for that line and getting told only voice is free or some bullshit. Is this how it's supposed to work? I thought it was completely free. Can someone confirm?

I was suppose to get the 3rd Line on Us Free since I called on the 24th, then saw the Nov 25th on SD and also jumped on it... Fast forward to now. The International Team screwed up BIG time. The International Team did not activate my line until the 25, and when I called for the 25th that's no longer the Free Line. The International Team is a JOKE.

This was exactly my situation. I originally contacted them through TForce via Facebook messenger to see if my SOC (10SCFM4) was eligible. The first agent said yes, so I had them add the new line. Fast forward two weeks later, my bill said otherwise and I was being charged for the additional line. I contacted them again through TForce messenger and the rep was able to see all the original chat. They credited back the difference and I also requested them to switch my SOC to NAFUTT4, which would make my account eligible. They had to back date everything, but kept assuring everything would work for the next bill. Hopefully it works this time. There is a bit of a wait through TForce, probably holiday backlog, but I prefer chat vs calling.

Usually the amplified plans are not eligible for the free lines, that's probably why you are getting charged. What's your SOC code?
