Not sure of your math (or concern) but considering farmers have a $10 billion subsidy for rural internet (never mind roads, education etc) and we directly give $40 billion to farmers (who are not going hungry) maybe we can help poor children? Kudos to Tmob
100G/12months,8.xG/month.
I believe the 100G runs out quickly. Zoom meetings, youtube all need much data.
But thank T-mobile gives help to kids who need a free hotspot.
I think he meant "runs out fast" (quantity) rather than "runs fast" (speed).
He meant Zoom/YouTube consume a lot of data (quantity), not that they need high bandwidth (speed).

More than 40,000 people have died in Venezuela since 2017 as a result of U.S. sanctions, according to a new report by the Center for Economic and Policy Research co-authored by economists Jeffrey Sachs and Mark Weisbrot. The report examines how U.S. sanctions have reduced the availability of food and medicine in Venezuela and increased disease and mortality. We speak with Jeffrey Sachs in our New York studio. In the report, he writes, "American sanctions are deliberately aiming to wreck Venezuela's economy and thereby lead to regime change. It's a fruitless, heartless, illegal, and failed policy, causing grave harm to the Venezuelan people." https://www.democracynow.org/2019...tions_have

You need to examine why the sanctions were put in place. Sanctions are not put in place on a whim but after much deliberation and only as a last resort. We can't support the economies of every third world country, especially ones that vocally wish to cause us harm. You need tot look at what actually goes on and why rather than regurgitate the agenda of certain PAC's.
Did anyone get a random email saying they used up 80GB of data and get 2GB per month? It also says it will renew on February 11th of 2017. I am so confused, I haven't even opened up my hotspot yet 🤡
For the record, the average unlimited data user on TMobile uses 4GB of data per month on their phone. THat's instagram, youtube, sending and uploading and backing up videoes, etc. It's not EVERYTHING, but for education and post work entertainment it should fit the bill fine
You can actually get a lot of work done (not videos) if your actually doing just regular work on 3gb or 4gb. Tmobile includes on older plans the binge on which doesn't count pandora, youtube, hulu, etc. but zoom is not one of these things, and you'll use up your data in about a day or so.
guys, how did you activate this? I popped in SIM and connected to wifi, forced me to change admin password. Do you have to activate at my.t-mobile.com?
when attempting to register at my.t-mobile using the devices phone number, it errors saying "Sorry, something you entered does not match our records. Please try again."
Edit - I called and they must had flipped a switch. Did not need to anything through my tmobile site. This renews for 5 years?!

I cannot complain since it is free, but I am getting horrid speeds due to the deprioritization. Often less than 1mbps.
My kids are not eligible, but I have tons of neighbors who are. I'm wondering how they will meet the documentation requirement if kids (at least in DC) haven't been in a school building since last March and presumably they last did a FARMS application in August/September of 2019.
I'm also in DC (military) upload the 19-20 form and was approved in approx. 5 minutes.

Didn't biden just give a couple hundred million in aid while we are in an economic crunch?
