not a bad price, you can get the Samsung 970 evo plus 500gb for $89.99 at several online stores ( best buy and newegg and probably others )

Samsung 970 Evo Plus
write max 3200 MBps
read max 3500 MBps

samsung has been making Flash Drives for a lot longer than WD.
