Just came back from Costco and it is this price. I dont have TMobile, I have ATT, sales rep said if I get someone with Tmobile account I can buy but have to wait 42 days before Tmobile unlocks it
Great deal. But struck out in my local Costco. None in stock. They were going to order it for me -but to then price changes to regular $399 price- for "shipping" the guy said :-)
Anyway, they don't have any LG in stock- they just display them- they had the $399 LG V60 also on display but no stock
Too bad no comparison for the underclocked 1000C variant, which is the one in this phone and significantly slower.
Ah sorry, I missed the "C" variant in the CPU comparison link. Here's what I could find on benchmarks for both LG Velvet variants using either the Mediatek Dimensity 1000C or the Snapdragon 765G. These are just Geekbench scores; I have no idea how well they correlate with real-world performance as I don't own both of these phones.
The LG Velvet with the Dimensity 1000C scores 601 and 2365[droid.news] in Geekbench, single-core and multi-core respectively.
Does anyone have the Costco hot offers sheet for T-Mobile this month? And is the discount for this phone instant or via rebate? And is the rebate a prepaid credit card or a Costco card? Thanks everyone.
Truly sad to have missed this deal as I'd have jumped on it today so that I might flip this for the S21 trade-in offer.
My first smartphone was the LG G2 and after that I swore off LG. I'm no Samsung fan either, but getting the S21 at $250 + tax (on both the LG price and the S21 price) seems more than fair at day of launch.

They just add the new phone to a line so it activates. Just select a line that doesn't have any promos on it so there isn't any issue with that.
Uh what?
This explains the T-Mobile version [gsmarena.com]. This compares the processors [nanoreview.net].
