I currently use this exact brand and have been happy with taste/results. The tin is nice because it has a section where you can scrape your teaspoon to ensure you always get a level teaspoon of matcha. I've tried it both in a latte with almond milk, davinci sugar free vanilla syrup, cinnamon and some real vanilla extract as well as just adding a teaspoon to protein powder and water to give my protein drink a boost.

A while back I posted a very similar deal that was the same brand but came in a bag instead of this tin so if you liked that you'll like this one....and vice versa.

I'd weigh that more if it wasn't a site that SELLS japanese matcha telling you all the reasons why "japanese matcha is better". For one thing...green tea leaves don't get that color unless they ARE grown in the shade.

Will this help?
https://www.businessinsider.com/t...why-2016-4

it also mentioned possible toxicity from pesticides from....you guessed it - chinese "matcha".

Much better. However I'm not the sort to pay $32 for an ounce of japanese matcha...especially one I won't even taste when it's blended into a protein power or blended with vanilla extract and almond milk for a latte.

This suits me fine at about $1 an ounce. Hmm I wonder if "Cerfified Organic" is just buzzwords or means no pesticides.

USDA Certified Organic is in fact just that - Organic doesn't mean NO pesticides though - it means only approved pesticides.

You had me rolling with this one..laugh out loud

Matcha is grown in the shade regardless of where it is grown. The Chinese matcha are brown and yellow tones where the Japanese is a more vibrant green.

That's a nice generalization which is about as accurate overall as me saying "All cigars taste the same as Cubans." I've made matcha pudding using chia seed, almond milk and this matcha and I can't say it tasted like dirt to me..then again I don't recall eating dirt.

The organic certification relies on honest certifiers based in China.

Do not trust anything from China.

It's a lie. 90% is green tea blend, only 10% really matcha. Real matcha is hella expensive

How does it compare to Starbucks match drink (green tea frapacuccino)?

Toyota Camrys are made here as well as Honda Accords

This is not 'ceremonial' matcha which is best to drink as matcha hot tea. This matcha is best as a blended drink or used in cooking.
