You plan on overclocking with a Ryzen 3900x / 5900x or higher.
Your PC case does not have a front USB-C port. None of Gigabyte's B550 boards have an internal USB-C header.
You plan on watercooling. The metal backplate helps with passive thermal transfer and gives extra rigidity for watercooling components.
Also, motherboards with a metal back plate are heavy! Don't be surprised when it feels like a slab of steel.
Also with point #3 it has 2 pin temperature readers for water temperature sensor. I just swapped out this board from MC this weekend from an x570 TUF and my RAM overclocks are stable at 3600 CL 14 1.46 volts, and I couldn't get my ram to post at all at 3600 on the TUF anymore.
I just bought this at Micro Center because they were out of stock of the Gigabyte x570 master. Once i realized it was missing the usb-c header i did more research and found the other issue with the 2nd and 3rd nvme ports sharing the gpu cpu paths. I decided to buy the x570 master on newegg and I'm returning the b550. Its nice for what previous users have said but i already have multiple nvme drives waiting to be used
