Has anyone traded in a note series phone without the Spen ?
I lost the s-pen!!!!!
When I traded in a Tab S6 a while ago they didn't require the SPen to be included. Not sure if it's the same with phones, but I'd prefer to keep my Note Spen and use with with the S21.

Does anyone know if Samsung requires the Spen be included when trading in phones?

I talked to Samsung customer support. They said that I do not have to submit the S Pen . I also confirmed with an email for documentation

As per trading faq, for trading the note series phone you have to return the spen.

Then it looks like they are not following their own faq. I just quoted the faq, no personal experiences.

S-Pen is required for phones, but not for tablet, per chat and FAQ. However, it seems some are ok not sending it

$800 in this case seems like a lot to risk for an Spen if it's in the FAQ to include it. Maybe I will email them and see if they will put it in writing that it's not needed. Would still create a big headache to get rejected though.

I notice the S21 does not have a good audio chip vs the S10 or S8.

The audio sounds more raspy, synthesis, more robotic sound.

I did it from my car thru the bluetooth for the last 5 years and this new S21 sounds bad.

What about you?

I have the S8 Bluetooth streaming in my Camry and noticed that I need to increase by 4 to get the desired listening volume for S21. Bluetooth isn't great to begin with but sound is pretty much on par with S8.

I noticed that too. When I am on the speakerphone the voice isn't as clear as it was on the S10. Other than the curved screen and the extra bixby button, which I did not like, I think S10 can give a run for the money.

Man how can it be so hard for a case maker to give decent protection AND grip? All the cases I've tried seem to be slippery on the tpu sides.

For those of you who got the Tab S7 or S7+, how are you wirelessly connecting to your PC or laptop to transfer files? I had been using the MyPhoneExplorer (MPE) app since the early 2010s and it's been very reliable. But on my S21 Ultra, I noted that the Link to Phone is also now very good (more limited on my old Note8), but not as customizable with file transfers as MyPhoneExplorer, where I can create specific instructions for particular folders (say Camera pictures, Screenshots, PDF files, WhatsApp Pics, etc.) However, Link to Phone does not work for the Tab S7+. So I am only using MPE to wirelessly connect to the PC.
I use ADB with the push and pull commands to wirelessly transfer files.

If you are not comfortable with ADB, you can also try Samsung Flow [google.com].

Good luck. hug

I traded in a Galaxy A71 and they told me they didn't receive the same phone that I had listed as my trade in. I live chatted with them and told them I took pictures of the phone and also that I purchased it last month so they should be able to clearly see it on my account. Regardless they said they'll have it given another assessment and let me know.
I had exactly the same issue. I bought 2 S21s and traded 2 A71 and received same email as you Frown
