You would need to do it from the new s21 phone. Also I assume detailed instructions would be sent once the device is shipped
Xfinity store offered $60 for my spotless S9+.....
Xfinity s20 has only 8gb ram which is same as as s21 so the major s21 downgrade is actually not an issue for Xfinity (Verizon) version.
So s21 won't have microsd and only 1080p screen, but a better resale/trade in value a year or two from now, plus the additional $100 Samsung credit

I went to the xfinity store to trade in.(The xfinity website says that is the way for trading in). However the guy said they have stopped taking in trade ins!.

Got the credits approved, but it takes 4-6 weeks to deliver. Kind of lame. In the past it was right away.
Update2: Got $200 credit today, 2 days after registration got accepted and 4 days after applying for it.
I wanted the black or brown leather case, but just like all the previous preorder deals, these cases are sold out like right away. Ended up getting the galaxy bud pro.
