I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Some of these stores are so scummy. I just got back from going to a CS store in nyc, literally nobody inside except 4 or 5 workers all on their phones, told the person I want the 4 plan for $100, and was told that my numbers had to be under my name. She then went to the back to check, laughed coming out the room and told me that since my port ins are from sprint and since t mobile owns sprint the numbers are not eligible for the rebate deal. Wasn't gonna argue when it was a ghost town there and left, now i know why.

Got like 3-4 other CS stores around me that I can try tmr.
Which corporate metro store did you go to in nyc? I went this morning to the one in jackson heights queens and they didn't have any N10. They said it was sold out to try again on Tuesday.

Regarding the "DRAWER" trick. Can someone clarify?

So after the first month of paid service and using the phone, does the phone absolutely have to be turned off for another 5 months or so in order for this to work? or can it be used on WIFI or maybe be used in airplane mode?

Thanks.
if needed, yes, u can use on wifi

Yea they were out of stock in East Brunswick this afternoon. And authorized retailers (Livingston ave) didn't stock this.
The N10 was out of stock? It was in stock yesterday. Did they say when these will be restocked? BTW, looks like the manager at the stock check all port in numbers to verify if eligible, will find reasons to deny if the numbers are from Ebay or alike. Where did you get the numbers from?

Can I get this deal if I'm already a metro customer? How much personal info do they collect in store? SSN? Photo ID? Can I use my middle name and work address? Any idea? Do they ask you to assign names to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines?
No. I think it might be slightly discounted for current customers, but nowhere near free. You are better off just porting a junk number (ting sim, etc.) and opening up a new line ($30 if you can get them to activate it on that plan, if not, $40), then move the phone over to your current plan (no idea if you have to wait for the 'new line' plan to expire after the month, or if you can move it right away).

That's exactly it, its a roulette with these stores. I called the support number on metro but it was too laggy and i was told they each store has their own policy even though they are corporate stores, what a joke. told me my sprint numbers would not get the rebate promo on the nords.

Yeah, I was hoping to port a junk number then move the N10 to my existing metro line later. Guessing they won't move it until the new line expires. Also, the fine print does not say "new customers only", it says "port in required" so it looks promising. I'll give it a shot tomorrow..

it will work. You don't even have to tell them you are a current Metro customer...frankly, they don't care. As I said, you might be able to replace your current phone with the new phone..that requires a call in to customer service though and not sure if they can see anything on their end about it being a new phone/line, etc. Worth giving it a shot anyhow, worst they can say is no.

Anyone successful in porting out a Freedompop GSM number (ATT) with a free plan. Target has some SIm starter kits on sale and I registered and activated one but don't see port out information in the online account. Appreciate if anyone can share port out info for freedompop
I have a FreedomPop account I can see the info in my account. It shows my mobile number as my account number with a preceding 1. Not sure if a PIN is needed to port, but that is also shown in my account online.

you can move it right away. all you need to do is find an imei to replace that new phone. Otherwise you have to wait 60 days (I think its 30 days active and 30 days suspension).

Thanks for the information. you probably have their old/voip SIM. They now call the new SIMs as premium SIM that for somehow doesn't show port info.

If you are able to login into https://my.freedompop.com/login, that possibly explains why you are able to see the port info. that is the old portal apparently

It is a nightmare for me to port a GOOD number to T-Mobile. Bouncing back and forth. After couple weeks, still not done yet. BTW, for some reason, the number is marked as Landline.

NorCal CS, called ahead spoke to Kevin, asked if 4/100 deal good and phone on hand, arrived at 5:38, greeted awesomely and introduced to Gerardo who was all set to handle the specifics and complete 2 port in (TracFone 1VZ, 1 AT&T from 3 in 1 kit used for Amazon $100 egift.- account #=sim card # or TracFone imei, pin is user set account pin.) + 2 new lines with 2ea N10 & N100, $100 cash paid, phones left for me to setup at my request.

Entire process completed just 2 minutes after 6pm with me exiting the store smiling with 4 new phones @$100!

Goes without saying I profusely thanked Kevin & Gerardo for being super chill and the outstanding service, which was unexpected and refreshingly helpful! Talk about hooking it up making the Slickdeal even Slicker!

TY OP, in for 4 and repped!😁👍🤙
They didn't even open the phone to setup something ? I wish they left it all sealed but all was open and turn on in store
