This is part of the super bowl promotion, Costco initially listed this TV for $1050 on the flyer, but has reduced $100 across all sizes. This should be the cheapest price seen for this TV.
Promotion starts 1/17.
I have the 75 x90h and got it for the 1500 price. I'll probably return. The 120hz issues and other various firmware glitches have kinda killed the experience for me. Great TV though if they were more prompt fixing things.
Thoughts compared to the Sony x900h? Seems to be comparable when on sale? I'm looking for a 75"+ and seem to be stuck between these too.
The LG is an IPS panel and has significantly lower contrast than the Sony. If you're watching in a dark room, the Sony will have a lot deeper blacks. Also, the Sony has higher peak brightness for HDR pop. The LG has wider viewing angles, so if you have chairs all over the room, colors will be more accurate from the side. If your couch is right in front of the TV, then it wouldn't matter
Only issue with the Sony is that 4k/120hz is currently a little blurry and VRR is supposedly coming in a future update. If neither of those matter to you then the Sony is likely a better TV.
Looking for a 75+ Tv in the $2000 price range. This tv is on my radar and strongly considering but the IPS panel is concerning - every other aspect makes me want it. The Vizio P Series Quantum is also on sale at Costco for 1479 (75 inch) so stuck between those two. I wish the X90ch would just go back on sale to make this decision easy for me!
Same here.
I'm looking at this 75" LG NANO91 one for $1450 at Costco (with the extended warranty)
Or the EPP 75" Samsung Q90T QLED one for $2099.99
Opinions?
Is the Samsung one really worth the extra $650?

What are you planning on replacing with? The pqx just went on sale and that seems a better buy than the nano91

Agree, I wish the x90ch would go back on sale. I wasn't in the market for a tv during BF or Xmas but my Tv is going bad and want to replace it. It's watchable so I can wait until the x90ch ever goes back on sale but I don't know what major sales holiday is besides Super Bowl tv sales. Maybe March-April when the new Sony tv comes out they would want to get rid of all the remaining 2020 x90ch stock?
I saw the TCL 6 series, Sony X900, Samsung Q80T and the LG Nano91. I ruled out the LG Nano as the TCL, Sony and Samsung appear much better PQ wise. I am going to wait till early March to see if the Sony goes on sale again. If not I will get the TCL for $899 and call it a day. Not that impressed with the Q80T relative to the TCL and Sony.
I love Vizio TV when it works. but the OS is totally a trash, I also had 3 P series unit replaced within a year. I now had chromecast hooked with tv and works fine.

I love it and have no regrets not getting another OLED (we have one in another room).
This or the Sony x90h but I can't stomach paying the current price vs BF. 😂
What's your main use? I Main use would be console gaming.

I feel the same way! Why spend $1900 when it was 1500 on BF! Waiting for it to go down!

My only use is PS5.
my thought is that once I got it I won't care because I won't have an OLED next to it to compare to.

I'm honestly open to suggestions. I may even hold off a bit for the newer models
Where is the pqx on sale? Is $999 at best buy a good deal?
