I bought this [costco.com] Samsung from Costco a couple months ago and it has PIP if that's requirement. Refresh rate is only 75 though, not 100 like this one.

Still at the $299.99 price I paid.
Thanks .. I actually have that Samsung one coming today but wanted to explore others that may be comparative. I really want the PBP more than PIP so would probably keep the Samsung if this LG doesn't have that feature.

The spectre one does not have vertical height adjustment. Given the size and weight of these massive monitors, I reckon this is an important feature to be having...
Is that the only main difference? I have a standing desk that should handle this for most needs.

I have not used a curved monitor before. What is the advantage?

The monitor will be more immersive and the distance to each part of the screen is more consistent which, on larger monitors, helps keep consistency of picture quality as you look at the edges.

For working at home, is waiting for a USB C display worth it? Ready for upgrade for my macbook pro but want to make sure I buy the right one.

It appears Apple may be going away from USB-C charging on the new release. For that reason and anticipating having a dock in use for my MacBook, I did not require usb-c charging/data transfer.

Am I missing anything?

It allows you to see outputs from 2 sources at the same time (ie if you have 2 hdmi devices connected to the monitor, you can see both outputs at the same time).

Done hours of research and it seems like this is a direct competitor to the gigabyte 144hz G34WQC, which is said to be the better monitor of the two but has been OOS for a while.

Both priced at $400.

Gigabyte 144hz, better srgb (120% and 85% rgb, better brightness)

As someone who mainly uses monitor for EVERYTHING (80% productivity, video/photo editing, 20% casual gaming) is the G34WQC worth waiting for? Does this LG do anything better than the Gigabyte?

I would recommend you get an IPS panel for the 80/20 split you reference. I'm more like 50/50 and have come to the sad conclusion that I need two different monitors. A 4K medium to low refresh rated IPS (prob 27"), and a lower res VA (32-34") with 120+Hz refresh rate. Former for the productivity/editing, and latter for my gaming addiction. Smilie

From the hours of research I've done, at this time there is no one monitor that is great for both gaming AND photo editing/productivity - you ultimately have to choose which tech favors however you use the monitor most. Maybe $1,400+ range but I'm not looking there.

Note that I used the word 'great' before responding with a million models that do both moderately well, or ONE of them great. 😀

Does this have USB-C? bought a similar monitor from Amazon for $469:

LG 35WN75C-B – 35" QHD (3440 x 1440) Curved Monitor with sRGB 99% Color Gamut and HDR 10 and USB-Type C (94W Power Delivery) - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LLCP...bGbK02SR1W

I don't see USB-c in the spec sheet in costco. Everything else looks the same. Can someone confirm if this is the case?
Would also be curious to know if USB-C is the only difference here...

I bought this during Black Friday sale at same price, I find it decent but not really great price vs quality is good, I bought Sony X800H TV in between to use as a monitor but decided to keep this return TV, this monitor curvature is not deep or it is slightly curved, colors and not really vibrant but reasonable, I see slightly broken small images, stand and overall quality is decent, note I made no changes it's out of the box and I am using in Reader Mode(I find HDR too bright for me).

Cool thanks. That is something I'm looking for as well as a curved screen so this seems to be more ideal for me than the Samsung 34 from Costco.

not sure which deal, but you might have seen "WVA", which stands for wide viewing angle. it's the generic term for IPS, basically. even WVA/IPS screens can vary greatly in quality.
