these are pretty good prices, not the slickest deals but beats spending $1000+ on last-gen products

Might be best to hold out for the 5000 series ryzen chips
Those will be expensive. Those 5000 series should drive down the price of the 4000 series. I'm thinking 15 inch screen with Ryzen 4000 series around 1000 or 1100.

But it has been reduced at a good price this week on ebay, due to 30 series announcements.
(the only cons are a tad bit heavy wt of 5.42 lbs.and another couple pounds power brick--but not a con for most).
