Amazon Warehouse - No longer deep discounts

Amazon
Does anyone have any insight as to why the majority of Amazon warehouse (used/returned) items are no longer discounted more than 20%? A year ago, I used to constantly find deals in which items were discounted by 50% or more. A couple of my guesses would be:
1. Amazon entered in additional deals with liquidators to purchase more returned items which eliminates the need to deeply discount used/returned items and perhaps eventually stop selling items on Amazon Warehouse.
2. Individuals were caught purchasing items at full price, returning the items, and having someone purchase the items when they were relisted.
Anyone have any insights or thoughts on this?

I was pretty steamed so I wrote Jeff. They gave my money back and told me there was no need to ship them back because they weigh nearly 50lbs a piece. I asked Elac if they could sell me the hardware I needed and they sent it to me at no charge.
Amazon does not want their crap back because it's too much trouble to try and sell it again. They have less warehouse stuff to sell ...so fewer deals.
I have found from 4 bucks to 50%.off.

Yeah I used to find tons of those deals the last few years, but lately they are rare

Yeah. I believe after a few too many returns they will no longer give refunds and let you keep the items. There is this video on youtube in which ppl put gps trackers on their returns and they went to so many places and some good items got trashed.
