There's a ton of games in the current "Under $20" sale on the
Playstation store. Unless you have a complete list, it's easy to miss seeing the good ones that are available. Zombie Army 4 is on sale too but
Zombie Army Trilogy is only
$5.00 so of course it's worth grabbing. Any day is a good day for shooting zombies!
Sale ends on February 3.

Anyone know how wonky this is on PS5?
Looks like I can't buy it anyway from what I can tell.
Yeah, I've gone back to mostly PC gaming. Couch coop was one of the primary reasons I used consoles. Especially with my kids.
Trine is not my kind of game, but thanks for the recommendation. I don't want side scrolling 2-D couch co-op games and the top down co-op games like Diablo get old to me. I'd like all of these online only co-op games to just allow offline co-op. Like I was going to play Dead Space 3 awhile back with a friend because I heard it was co-op, but after starting the game up I realized it was online only. Did the same thing with Star Wars Battlefront II recently, only to find out no couch co-op. Just a bummer!
I used to never be a Nintendo fan until I picked up a Switch to play while working away from home.
It's amazing, I started out with Zelda BOTW for myself but was slowly introduced to co-op games like Overcooked, Timber, Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey and more. Some were expensive AAA titles, but my library quickly grew to 40+ titles from deals on here.
Nintendo constantly has deals on awesome quality indy games that you can snag for under $5, though the better range is $10-20 (Horizon Chase Turbo, Hades, Cuphead, etc.)
What I liked the most is that the games for the most part are accessible to anyone at most ages. My folks came over for Christmas and picked up overcooked and had a blast doing it, it was easy to understand and they loved it. The pandemic hit and the Switch became too hard to find so they bought a Ps4 instead to play and just could not get used to 3D movement and analog controls, even when I showed them.
I try to explain to my PC "Master Race" buds that graphics and processing power aren't everything if not everyone can have fun playing it but they don't get the appeal either. The Switch is truly something special though, and there's definitely something for everyone. I don't even take mine off the dock, it just looks brilliant on the big screen.
It's worth taking a serious look at, at least. Sorry for the ramble.

You had me at sniper elite
Its great an worth hella more then $5
Multiplayer/co op is fun as well but even for just campaign..
Same except instead of moving to pc gaming We just evolved the couch co-op playing into internet co-op
2 consoles (1 each bsmt and fam room)
- buy digital game 1x and share it
- We use the kinect for co op audio / chat so no headsets needed
- and we both get full screen experien, wireless, dolby atmos surround, and co-op
Gears 5,4 etc amazing co-op campaign experience try these 1st !!
And most recent halo - OMG...so good the co-op campaign
Ps5 we even co-op using vr shooter games using the aim guns like firewall for psvr- so much fun and just scratching the surface there...if next level/gen co-op console vr...
Might buy anyway

PS2 and before, those were the days, games shipped "finished", no online dependencies and couch co-op was in front of developers minds instead of the last thing they thought about.
