Got one from Best Buy to replace a google home mini. Big mistake. The microphone on the Lenovo does not hear very well. I used to be anywhere in the room and speak to the device and the Google mini would reply. For this clock, i have to looking at it and almost shouting before it replies.
Very disappointed in this. I missed the return window at BB or else it would have gone back.

I got one for $10 a week ago. There was a deal that included a GE smart bulb and This Lenovo clock for $30. I returned the Smart bulbs for $20 and kept the clock for $10.

MUCH worse. You don't want to use this speaker much. I have it play to my other google home speaker. The sound is smaller, lacks the lower range and Fuller sound of even the Nest minis.

I like these guys. Not as good as gen 3 minis for sound, but I like everything else about these. I got 3 for $30 recently and I thought it was worth my money.

Have you tried the microphone sensitivity option on the google home app?
