For $15/month, you get unlimited talk and text, plus up to 2GB of high-speed data.

https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prep...ns/connect

taxes are negligible
after 2 GB over they give more 500 MB till the end of month
if you use wifi 2 GB will not be used
the quality of service is good.
texting can be across the globe

Why the red? What am I missing?
$25 unlimited text and talk + 5GB data sounds good to me. Plus, you can use t-mobile prepaid cards, discounted regularly at Target and others.

well that plan wasn't even mentioned in the OPs post. I'm switching to the one you mentioned that beats the old walmart $30 plan

Both plans (the $15 and 25) have been around for quite a few months. Nothing new here.

Yes, the T-mo connect plans are good. But this isn't a "new deal"; it's the regular price... I'm guessing that's why the thumbs down...

From the small print, the $25 plan cuts off data, after the 5GB limit is reached, and you'll need to purchase more data. The $30 Walmart plan throttles data, after the 5GB. Depends on your usage. I've retained the Walmart plan for now.

FYI this price does not include taxes and fees which is probably about $5 (based on postpaid plan)

Huh? This has been around for atleast 6 months. I have 5 line 3 on $15 and 2 on $25.

bear in mind tmobile prepaid website sucks lately. cannot get into account or create a new account easily, keeps giving " we have ours wires crossed error". also a pain to have multiple lines added on one account , and to add a new line to prepaid account. mine was setup 6 months ago to have 2 lines, I tried to add 3 new lines to my account since December and no luck. I wasn't even able to create individual accounts for the 3 new lines, have been doing guest payments for the 3 new lines since December which also wasn't working 99% of the times I tried for a month.

Yeah they have this issue. I too struggled for more than a month to set up an account. I was in Magenta(post paid plan) but converted to prepaid 15 plan last dec, couldn't setup account initially but was able to last week, worked somehow

I have this issue logging in also. They never make it clear, but Connect plans shouldn't log in on the normal T-Mobile page. You need to go to https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/home to log in instead. That worked for me.
