Got my first pair a month ago. Then got the Cloud Hi with Helion. Fell in love with these shoes. Been hunting ever since and this is the best prices they go for.

In for a Cloudrock Waterproof. I've been eyeballing these to go on clearance. Zappos had the burgundy ones last week for $208, still too rich for my blood. My "rule" on On shoes is 30% off min., so $137 is stellar.

Yea it's rare for me to pay $100+ for any shoes. I love the On ROGER tennis shoes but not $160. Glad you got what you've been hunting. I'm trying to get every kind of On shoes at a good price.
Agreed. Don't see these shoes on sale often but colors are not the standard recent ones.
These are the best prices for these shoes. Can't be picky with colors. Sizes are not that limited. Trust me, just try one and you will fall in love. The solar landing and quick bounce back is true. It's not foam soft like the Nike React. It's responsive soft.

I jog in Adidas Solarboosts. How would these compare?
You should Google some reviews ON them. It doesn't just absorb the landing, it springs back to give you a boost. I love how the Helion super foam feels. Wanna keep walking around all day oomping.

I'm not familiar with Solarboosts, but I am with many On shoes. I wear a neutral show and prefer medium drop shoes (6-8mm, maybe 4) and like a lightly cushioned shoe that lets me feel the road in a good way. I don't like super padded shoes. They make me work too hard for no gain.
Of the On shoes I have, I run in the previous version CloudFlow and the Cloud X. The Cloud X is technically an athletic shoe more than a running shoe. It's not good for more than a 5K. Both are super light and moderately cushioned which is why I love them. Both of these can be found on the Classics page on On's site. I think they are 20 or 30% off original MSRP.
The current version of the Cloudflow (with Helion foam) is more cushioned and I can't run in those. They are fantastic for walking though. They give me a nice bounce when walking -- one that is too exaggerated for me when running.
I also have a pair of Clouds (original version) and there just isn't enough shoe there for me to feel comfortable running in, and I'm not a big person. They are good casual shoes for me though.
For all of these, I don't wear them in the rain as they have much wet road grip. They were designed for dry surfaces like racing tires.
Finally I have a pair of Cloudventures. These are off-road shoes and they mean it. Great and grippy for running or hiking on groomed trails but too stiff on concrete or asphalt, as most hiking shoes are. The pair I have was very discounted, I think like $59. They are water resistant but not waterproof. They make a waterproof version though.

I think you're right about the Helion for running. It's so responsive. I got some Cloudventures for everyday use. Hope it's not too stiff. It's def my go-to for trails.

Wife's looking into On shoes... she's looking for long runs, doing the Philly marathon next November. What model On would be best for this? You didn't talk to long runs. Thanks

I had a deal alert for "On Running" it didn't trigger it, might want to add that to the title for exposure
