I just picked up two more so now have 4 to do my 4 zones. Last sale was limit of 2:

IDK if great deal but four for $100 seems to me like a good deal and now dont have to end up with two different kinds as I was worried about. If I ever finish replacing boiler in my house should be nice to have these to control everything.

There may have been another thread originally but that was one I posted in so found in my history. IDK I was happy to get two more for $50...just figured post in case others in CT or maybe other eversource customers were interested.
I'm not convinced about these smart thermostats though. It looks like if you want any function higher than the old round dial thermostat with the tube of mercury in it, you are required to use Apple, Amazon, Google or Samsung services. I took a quick look at the Emerson privacy policy, and wasn't satisfied with it. They know when you are home, and don't seem to care about who they transfer that information to.

If you want to use a web browser to control, there's a $10/year/thermostat charge.I'd like to update my 30 year old thermostat, especially at the prices they are charging. Besides basic programming, all I want is to see the daily and seasonal time it called for heat or cooling.

I hope I can control this thing via wifi without a charge. That would be news to me if not possible but I have yet to install the two I bought last year.
I have have been without normal heat for two months now due to boiler failure so been heating house with pellet stove...yes I stink.

Last summer they also had a $5 LED package that was great, and $87 Winix AM90 units. I bought 2 each (used the IL's account too) and just wound up selling the 2 WINIX units for $300 combined, so I made out on the deal.
.they also have a few thermostats for free.... Or like $1 IIRC.

with link to the $1 thermostats but these are $50 there:

The $15.22 price is before tax. Then they add tax for full price comes to $25 each.

There's no charge for using the phone or tablet application to control it. Only if you want to use a computer through a web browser.
I use a wood stove as my house's primary heat. Last winter my furnace only ran 191 hours at 1 gallon per hour.

Almost finished with install of W/M WGO-3 so with downsize of boiler should save $ in oil and being able to use pellet stove to keep house livable should save $ too.
So part of why want these wifi thermostats is to be able to move water around in each zone every so often when temps outside get in teens but not having to heat whole house. I froze a zone a few years ago and had to hook up "tombstone welder" to heat pipes up to thaw and dont want to ever deal with that again. IDK if possible to automate it so each zone runs for 10min every so often during cold spell. But at least with these I can do from phone and not have to run around house so will still be easier.

I want to say it was something like.... $30 to enroll and $20/tstat after some period of time. All they did was turn up my AC a few times last summer, send you a notice earlier in the day and it only lasts a few hours each time. To me not a big deal at all.
Here's a link - the promo has changed. $25 to enroll, then $20 at the end of each summer:

Of course you need a compatible tstat.

Our primary is HHO but supplement with a wood insert. Or rather, I leave the tstats on and if they don't have demand because of the stove, then there's no demand.
The only con to this.... besides hauling around wood, is that the living room where the stove is can be like 85-90 and the next room is 70. It's a hell of a shock when you walk around a corner!
