Requires a neutral wire
Neutral wire provides power to the switch when it's off so it can still be controlled via your phone, Alexa, etc. Some switches work without it, but this one doesn't.
Also just a note, the neutral and ground are not the same thing.

I found some of this brand on Amazon. Do you know if those still be able to flash tasmota? Do they have switch compatible with 3-way switch?

I don't know the answer to either question. However, I'm very happy with mine... It fits in my 3 gang plate very nicely, was easy to install and set for sunrise/sunset, and has a little glowing light on it. I have had several since 2017 and no problems with any.

The Lutron PD-5WS-DV-WH is an on/off that does NOT require a neutral. They make two different versions of the non dimmer. I personally have the dimmers.... (Got them for like $12 a few years ago during the Best Buy price matching fiasco)
Oh okay, that's great to know, thanks. I installed two different models of their on/off switches and they both needed a neutral.

I've tried to keep my devices to zigbee and zwave rather than fight the inevitable issues with obsolescence and security/certificate issues with wifi. I remember transitioning from 802.11b to n a few years ago and finding out I had to leave my old router kind of dangling on the new one until i was done using and replacing the b-only devices.

Primarily and originally Smartthings v2; but (very) slowly gaining traction on using a modded chromebox running openHAB with a zigbee/zwave combination dongle.
Even if someone has a strong background in programming, I can't in good conscience recommend any of the roll-your-own open source projects, they're a black-hole level time sink.
