Free in-store pickup. Shipping makes the deal not as sweet, but if you are able to pick this up it's a great deal!

This would be an okay deal with the chainsaw alone, but coupled with the 5ah battery this is a smoking deal!
Competitor pricing is around 220

So that leaves you at $50 for a 5ah battery which is on the low side you'd pay for one in the grey market (eBay/Craigslist/FB Marketplace).
Great deal if you can get it for $150 picked up.

Ah yes, gotta love those time machine comments.
That was the flexvolt
You'll need to confirm if Milwaukee batteries have internal voltage regulators and/or overheating circuitry ..... I forget if DeWalts do/don't. Then confirm the adapter has what you need.
This price isn't bad, not the least expensive it's been.
I've got this saw, no complaints here.
I've also got 4 other chain saws, electric to gas, and I'm still happy with this puppy ..... good for quick limb trimming.
There's an SD post here (was here, I used it) for a 14 inch bar and chain combo that'll fit this 12 incher.

Good catch. Sorry about my error. Still, I love my DeWalt. I'll remove my comment to avoid confusion.
I used 2x 9Ah, 2x 6Ah and 1x 5Ah batteries with it. I started all batteries all charged up. As I used saw and drained the batteries, I put them in the charger starting with the largest capacity first and working my way down. By the time I got to the 5Ah battery, the 9Ah battery was fully charged and ready to go again. Finally felt like I had a good system in place and enough batteries that I would never have to wait on a battery to recharge.

I always consider the time machine comments more along the lines of:
"this deal isn't slick... There was a YMMV B&M deal 8 years ago that was $100 cheaper for the same item".
