Ive seen both side by side and I cant tell the difference at all. On some cases, the s7 display is actually slightly better. Not saying that amoled is worse becaue it is not but the better processor, side key fingerprint reader, higher resale/trade in value in the future is enough to pick the s7 for relatively the same price.

Right, I just gave my opinion into the mix. I've had both and decided with my boxes to cross off which I personally wanted. I wouldn't pay more than 430$ for a tablet though, either. Hence I didn't get the best one, s7+

Yeah if you care about text mostly LCD is actually better than OLED since it uses RGB layout which works better with text.
If you have better than 20/20 eyesight or get too close to an OLED screen you can actually see color fringing around text which can be annoying.
However, there are occurrences where I can notice color fringing when viewing the display closer-up, so a slightly higher screen resolution would be appreciated. https://www.xda-developers.com/go...ign=buffer
