The cheap ones do, which is why I bought me this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Sure it costs more, but it's maintained its sharp edge for about 8 years for me. I've had about 3-4 other clippers that were given to me via either a promotion, or as a gift (when people go out of the country and bring you the cheap bottle openers). This set is still sharper than these other gifts that were given to me after. Well worth the price.
