These are trash; got it last time and they don't cut nails just breaks them.
Maybe you should get those nails checked , these are fine with people with normal nails

The cheap ones do, which is why I bought me this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Sure it costs more, but it's maintained its sharp edge for about 8 years for me. I've had about 3-4 other clippers that were given to me via either a promotion, or as a gift (when people go out of the country and bring you the cheap bottle openers). This set is still sharper than these other gifts that were given to me after. Well worth the price.
This one is a bit cheaper

I have one hanging on my fishing vest. Great for clipping mono or braided line with one hand. My wife has one in her sewing basket to clip thread. Handy little guys!

So from the comments it sounds like some people DO need to replace these often enough that Subscribe and Save timelines make some sort of sense. But this seems like a weird S&S product to me. Like does anyone really have a problem with this where they wake up one day and say "I better set these to auto-ship to ensure I don't run out of nail clippers at a critical moment again."

I can't say that I've bought their toenail clippers, but I would find it hard to believe that their quality is only good on their nail clipper. If I was as meticulous with my toenails as I was my fingernails, I'd probably take my chances on their $30 toenail clippers. Although, as I view their catalogue, it appears that they have "subscribe and save" as an option for their toenail clippers, so I guess I'll try their toenail clippers since I'm already getting 15% this month.

I understand the S&S is cheaper but the concept that you need to purchase packs of 3 on ongoing bases is a little bit strange to me for nail clippers 😉

Cut your nails after a shower. Cheap clippers won't matter.
