Not a horrible nor great deal. Low selection. Only has 4 options, 3 are kits (drill, 1/4 impact driver, 3/8 impact wrench) which include batteries and 1 is bare tool (recip saw). Offer valid 3/1/21 - 4/28/21. All options are currently $99 with free $79 value battery

No... even the lowest quality Dewalt 20 volt brushed will have more power then this 12 volt. These do have great power for their size, but these are meant for size/ weight convenience, not power. Also the larger amp battery does NOT increase power... only runtime.

Have some 12v and 20v.
I like these Xtreme 12v for doing small things in the home. Like putting up a couple screws for hanging things.
Super light and powerful, great for ladies who don't want heavy tools.

Milwaukee's 12v lineup is way ahead of the game, Dewalt seemed to have given up on 12v tools and now seeks a return? Anyway why bother with a limited lineup.

That is not true at all. Tools have been proven to create more power with different batteries of the same voltage. Also the 12v xtreme is right there with the 20v atomic imo.

I thought you'd buy a 12v tool for a more compact design and to save weight. Why would you then buy a huge battery which negates both advantages?

I got it for the reciprocating saw. I was thinking for my 3 beam green laser but it won't fit. I'm betting they will be introducing more tools to their 12 volt lineup that would benefit from the higher amp batteries. I know there's a 12 volt stubby impact wrench coming....
