Harbor Freight has 2" ones for $99.99: https://www.harborfreight.com/2-b...57417.html

Doesn't come with a lock and has less load capacity rating though.

On the reviews on the 2" version of OP's hitch, one review in particular might be make the Harbor Freight one preferential depending on your towing needs, as I don't think it'd have this same flaw:

Quote from Some eBay reviewer :
Great looking. Ball mount was sprung at rear allowing the "ears" To fit Loosly. When hooked to a trailer, It was very noisy without a load on trailer.

The only good thing is its appearance. The "ears" barely caught the corner of the 2 inch square stock. Rattled without a load on trailer. Because of the Sprung open end, I was afraid to haul my trailer with a load.
Dang, now I'm torn on which to get...

Saw that, but it's only a 6" drop. Unfortunately, I need the 8" drop like the one in the OP.

I don't always lift my truck, but when I do, I make sure I do it enough so my vehicle is no longer practical for its primary purpose.

Then I buy a 12" drop hitch so I can finally tow again.

I see several ***parts only / used*** and refurbished listings plus feedback complaints on loose tolerances and rattling. I wonder about the quality of the manufacturing? Not a part I would what to worry about with a heavy load behind my Duramax.

Anyone actually own this???
