these are great deals. for midrange cpus (for gaming only), the 10600k is a much better bang for buck at $175 than the 5600x is at $300.

Probably some people that bought those and are salty or Intel haters lol. It is a good deal. Tempting to get the i5.

It most likely got thumbed down bc you have to spend a ton extra on a mb to be able to overclock it. If you buy a mb that doesn't allow you to overclock it you might as well just get a 10400

It's a very good deal. It took the 9600k chips forever to get down to this price, even on the used market (I know b/c I was watching the market and eventually bought used). And while the clocks on the 10600k aren't that much higher, it has more cores. There's no way you'd need anything more for gaming, at least, even if you're running super high frame rates.
